Amazing images and timelapses! I had no idea that it is so easy to get a drone permit in U.S. national parks. I’ve never tried but I will in the future especially since I have a Part license here in the U.S.

Hi Mark. Only in some State parks, National parks have a total ban. 👍

@@CliffHands ok that is what I thought about National parks. I didn’t realize that your location was a state park.

Stunning video and the landscape even more so. 😊 I remember my very first trip to these locations in 2015 where I got away with almost the same images. 😮 I am curious where you were heading next. Cheers …😊

What a super video, those waterfalls look fantastic, did you notice the rock which looked like a head/face laying on its side ? It’s the fourth photo in at 13:45, it stands out fantastically well, I think you must have planned it Cliff 😁🧐. Well done on such a good video with fantastic images(great selfies too 😁). Thanks for sharing with us 😁👍

Eliot's Downfall is a winter climb further up the hill, quite a bit above and to the left of the top of the main waterfall. Have a look at a few photos here (the first is a colleague of mine from a few years back, 2021). I believe Willie Elliot from the cottage said it would never be climbed (hence the name). The waterfall was first climbed by Dave Cuthbertson, resident of Ballachulish. The waterfall should probably be called Eas nam Beithach (waterfall of the place of birches) but the residents of Glencoe didn't really have much use for naming waterfalls.

I love your images and your videos but honestly I find the high speed drone intro's a bit headache inducing. Maybe slow it down a tad or provide a jump point in the description to avoid it. Have fun in the US !

Hi Cliff, loved the blog and the photos. Not seen many images of these falls from anyone else. A bit hectic in places as you are dashing around and sometimes I think it’s worth just slowing down a little. Beautiful images and great that you used yourself in some of them to give scale. Enjoy your time in the sates. You never know, you might get to vote if you meet the right people 🤣🤣🤣

All top drawer images there but my god that 1st image was jaw dropping. Been following you for a long time but first time to comment lol but there's now only 2 photo vloggers that I still follow! Yourself and glencoe photographer so was pleasantly surprised to hear yiu mention he's a friend of yours. Too many others have become too 'click baity' but your styles are excellent. Keep up the amazing work. Good luck in the US, especially with the astro, which is now my main hobby.

Great photos Cliff. The drone footage was a bit scary. I would have smashed mine in about 10 seconds. The only chance I would get going up there is if you and Karl carry me up.😄

I’m a Welshman and love Wales and its scenery, but Scotland is truly special. The only place I would put above it is Iceland, but it’s a close call. Great friendly people as well.

Doubt anyone would disagree with Glencoe, stunning in any light or weather. Can’t wait to return myself, some place just draw you too them. Hoping to visit Isle of Harris and Lewis next year, will make sure Glencoe is included.

You will never know how happy you've made me. I can no longer get around easily, spent endless hours wandering the Lomonds when walking was my hobby. Anyway, despite several attempts to spot Atlas I couldn't see it. Your video was a complete joy to watch and thank you for posting it.
