The Airport deserves to be kept as a museum but unfortunately half of it was converted to the Olympic Games so half of it is gone.But still that what survives should still be kept as Musuem. The Boeing 727 has been saved along with the B737 the Bac 1-11 too the Boeing 747 I think is going for a divers in the sea but things change haven't herd any news on it yet

6:41 That looks like an old dressing room. They’d even have small beds in them sometimes. They were small rooms off main bedrooms.

5:52 That’s an antique bed warmer, probably was hanging on a wall as decor. Before modern heating, you’d put hot coals in it and run it between the sheets of the bed so the bed was toasty when you got in. By the 30s and 40s they’d moved on to hot water bottles in bed with you. This house looks very 80s Victorian revival in decor to me.

Plenty of room at the new ( well 20 years old) airport if they can get them there. I believe the hangers, meant for Olympic but never used as it went bust are empty as Aegean have smaller hangers for maintenance and park their current fleet outside as they are used so much.

Just a note for anyone that happens to want to go here, there are now motion sensors/ alarms fencing the aircraft in. You can get up close but just, don't jump the fence, don't ask how I found out
