You never said exactly where this campsite was. Can you let me know where this is? We are planning a trip through the Icefields in the fall of this year.

You've pictured Yukon in it's 4 and 1/2 month season. The other 7.5 months of the year are dark, cold, winter, undesirable large part of the year. If you wish to live in the Yukon, which I believe all wannabe Canadians, then send them first to the NWT or Yukon for several years building it up as in old days. After the several year period without any criminal record and pass an English test and being a Canadian citizen you may freely choose to go anywhere in Canada your home.

For anyone here with similar Maxxair fan issues, I fixed mine by adding a 12v regulator. Fully charged lithium house batteries sit around 13.6v, which was triggering the overheat sensor for some reason.

Hey! We actually custom made them. We ordered from a foam company in Vaughan (there are a few!) so you can choose your needs + price point. Then ordered the fabric (Michaels has a great selection), then we sewed them together :) Hope this helps!

Tires look nice. How do they compare to your old tires ie milage and ride? Do you feel the more aggressive tread is justified for people that spend most the time on the pavement? thanks

A PSA A Public Lands Camping Pass is required to random camp on public land along the Eastern Slopes of the Rocky Mountains, this includes the area around Abraham Lake. The fee is $20 for a 3-day pass or $30 for an annual pass. These fees are per person for campers over 18 years old.

putting anti freeze in there doesn't make sense. as long as that's not drinking water it is ok, but if it is you'd just be poisoning yourself later. as long as you get most of the water out and open ports to allow air to be sucked in and not overpressurize the water pipes it should be fine. the best way would have been to design the water system to let you connect a hose from a air compressor tank to blow out all the water like a sprinkler system. I personally would have just dumped something safer in your water like rubbing alcohol or salt . not sure if alcohol is safe for plastic tanks and pex pipes, but alcohol and salt is safer than glycol, pets die drinking that stuff

Thanks for the feedback! We use non-toxic RV drinking waterline antifreeze. You can pick it up at any of your hardware stores. It’s specifically designed for water lines and is completely safe 👍🏻

hi love your videos is your roof rack the Yukon and are u still happy with it ? With the owl tire rack would you still buy the side ladder or is it redundant. Thanks
@ChrisandNicole
@ChrisandNicole 2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Yes it’s the Yukon rack from Stoked A.O. and we are still just as happy with it as the day we got it. Haven’t had a single issue with it. We still like the ladder on the side as our primary means of climbing up top. The Owl ladder works but is a little more awkward as you have to kind of climb around the tire on the side posts to get up. We actually initially intended to get the standard Owl tire rack but due to a shipping error we got the ladder one and decided to keep it because we liked the overall look of it. I still do use the Owl rack occasionally but it’s more to access the back end of the rack for maintenance reasons such as adjusting the WeBoost antenna or something. For us the Owl ladder is a nice to have and the side ladder is a must have 👍 Everyone’s different setup will vary though so it might not be the case for everyone
