What a great video! The storm sure made for some crazy footage and a unique experience! Good thing you were able to get off those islands. Bummer that you didn't get to see a whale breeching up close. We didn't either when we went to Alaska and were so disappointed. You still got some great footage though. Nice seeing the footage of the lighthouses, fishing villages, and coast. It reminds of our time in New England, which we really enjoyed. We think Chris is right... you need a do not go above line on your toilet. Eeeeeeew! But that was so funny! LOL!

That was some wild weather, I thought Keno may have been in danger of visiting OZ lol. In September of 2019, we visited Fortress Louisburgh and spent a couple of days touring Cape Breton. While in Sydney, we came across a Brown Pelican sitting on the edge of a wharf. It was more than likely blown in by Dorian. (Not an uncommon occurrence.) We then kept track of his/her journey home. One report had a pelican landing on a fishing boat on the southern tip of Nova Scotia. I'd like to think it made its way home. Honestly, this isn't in any way biased because I am originally from there. You owe it to yourself to visit the Island if you can. Really you do. Another great post guys!

So much fun guys! I'm glad to hear you guys made it up the hill from the lighthouse foundation spot. We camped there too, but not in high winds or a big van! haha

More than 150mm of rain hit Brier Island that day. Crazy. Meat Cove is awesome but if you can find time to go to Cape Clear, do it. The road in is dirt and some deep puddles but I think your van can handle it. 46.472646379684434, -60.88767097266251
