WOW! This made me cry! My son lived in Nashville and after two or three nights downtown I told him I liked listening to the musicians there but I wanted something really Country. He told me had just the place to take me! I was blown away when Dawn Sears got up and sang this. What a voice she had. I've listened many times to her here on KZbin, never realizing there was a daughter "Tess" with the same beautiful, amazing voice. ❤😢 ❤❤❤

As I write this I realize this was recorded several years back. I never had the privilege of getting meet Dawn, but something about her voice that could put chills up your back like no one else. Until, i saw that. What an incredible tribute. I sat here watching and listening with all but tears in my eyes as Tesla poured her heart out. What a tribute. Thanks for sharing.

Your mom and dad gave you that and this song, though your mom owned it, when she sang it, she gave you everything there is to own it too. Anyone else would have fell to pieces and wouldn't have been able to get through something like this, but you stayed right on and rode the tide like the professional you are and the daughter of such powerful singer and enduring soul, Dawn Sears...She was/is right there with you and I could see it also in the faces of those longtime friends, the Time Jumpers (especially Vince's) that you totally nailed it!! xo
