WOW! This made me cry! My son lived in Nashville and after two or three nights downtown I told him I liked listening to the musicians there but I wanted something really Country. He told me had just the place to take me! I was blown away when Dawn Sears got up and sang this. What a voice she had. I've listened many times to her here on KZbin, never realizing there was a daughter "Tess" with the same beautiful, amazing voice. ❤😢 ❤❤❤

I cry every time I watch this video, as I am right now. This is the greatest tribute I could think of anyone giving to Dawn. Dawn's passing was a huge loss to the music world and to me. One of my favorite singers. Tess knocked this song out of the park, just as her mother did.

Dawn was not widely known in Australia, and I have only come to know her, thanks to KZbin. But she was exceptional and I love her real country sound. Looks like she had a house full of talent. She left a great legacy with her beautiful voice. I wish I'd come to know her earlier.

Oh I just learned of Dawn Sears' passing. I'll never forget hearing her with the Time Jumpers at that same Nashville club, many years ago, with friends who said, "Wait until you hear this woman sing." and they were so right. I just cried my eyes out, remembering my own mother, gone for 4 years now. God bless this family, you can tell how much they miss her. RIP to a wonderful talent and warm wishes to her very gifted daughter too.

Wow is all I can say !! A tribute to MOM in a very special way. You certainly have mom's voice no doubt about that. She was a fantastic singer as well as a good singing partner to Mr. Gill. You not only have mom's voice but I can detect some Connie Smith in your voice much as your mom did. Although she is irreplaceable you can keep her memory going with your voice. Mr. Gill is very good at recognizing talent as I listen to his singing that has perfect harmony, and I'm sure he recognized that in Dawn Sears. I hope she is resting in peace knowing that all will turn out well, except for the missing part, keep up the good work and make your folks proud. A Dawn Sears Fan.

Tess, I'm not sure you read all the Great things that has been said about your Mom, I have never met any of you, but my Heart goes out to you all and your friends and Fans, I play the Music Vidoes of your Mom every Morning, she had a Voice like no other, and for you, you did something that most of us could never have done, my Mom to died of cancer, I could not play any songs that my Mom liked for a very long time, and you got on stage and Sang SWEET MEMORIES, and like one Lady said here, good thing you never looked at Vince Gill, all of you would have folded, Tess, you have Music in your family, use it, it would be great to see you one day in your Moms Seat, your Mom sang every song as if she was singing about here life, I am so sad for all of us, but she now is in a place where she can look down on you and see the Great Lady you turned out to be..A great fan of your Mom, Dale

Well said Tom. I never got to see my mom before she died of scepcis in a hospital far away from me, as I was so ill with pneumonia. I just got to the cremertoriem to see her little coffin, 3 weeks after that, my heart gave out, I live on tablets now.
