I've been finding fully preserved crinoids at mazon. You need air abrasion tools to prepare them but they are spectacular.

If greenstones are formed by plate tectonics, how were archaean greenstone belts formed? plate tectonics started only from Proterozoic time!

How to evaluate the ground? Repair after an accident? Measure and evaluate before it collapses? Maybe the measurement is not done correctly?

@@joshlambros well that would be the sequence if we wouldn't take into account the unconformities (the dark lines between each bed). But since the labels are on each strata/bed, then my take would be an enough answer.

This is for kindergarteners and does not explain anything. Without actual chemistry, this is 100 percent worthless to anyone who genuinely deserves a high school diploma. You've just made me more disappointed in the entire world, when my levels of disappointment were already at an all-time low.

The reason why the Earth did differentiated is not its spin but simply gravity. Of course it had to be hot too. The spin of the Earth would impede somewhat the process because it cause heavy elements to rise toward the surface instead of sinking to the center.

Out gassed volcanic water vapour is derived from the breakdown of hydrated minerals. However you can’t address how these minerals first became hydrated in the archaean. The source of the earths water was clearly elsewhere. But strangely we know it wasn’t from comets as the isotopic ratio is wrong.
