This is the first time I've watched this in full since 1992. Just has it did then, it's tore me up. Its all the more sad, knowing that beautiful Cathy is no longer here. She's with god now in heaven, a beautiful angel in this life and the next.

I had such a bad crush on Cathy Godbold/Meg when this aired in 1992. She was so beautiful. I adored her. I was also really saddened by her passing. It really was a cruel turn of life imitating art. She's with God now, eternally young and beautiful as we all remember her ❤

Blake is being a bit too much at times. When Meg suggested going to the beach, he should have told her to get her rest, she had just collapsed with exhaustion. Its no wonder she collapsed again after he took her to the beach. Idiot.

There's a poster of MAD MAX THUNDERDOME on Blake's bedroom wall. Rebekah Elmaloglou (Sophie) was one of the kids in that movie living in the wastelands.

The movie *The Bounty (1984)* was a favourite of mine too, which like Meg, I had a fixation for some time. That's how I know that the Bounty seen here was made for that movie, and was actually built in New Zealand. It was built from the original plans, provided by the British Maritime organisation. I believe it still resides in Sydney Harbor, as seen here in this episode. The movie is a who's who of young actors who went on to have glowing career's. Most notably, *Mel Gibson, Daniel Day Lewis* and *Liam Neeson.* It also features a very young *Dexter Fletcher,* who would also go on to direct *Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)*

My friend, what's happened here? At the end of Episode 2, Meg blew Blake out, but this starts with them together at the surf club.

I was 22 when I saw this back in 1992. I loved Home & Away back then. This was one of the best storylines they had done. I fell in love with Cathy Godbold (Meg) I had such a crush. I was saddened to hear of her passing in 2018 aged 43 after her real life fight with cancer. Seeing this now as an adult, they all look so young and teenage. Its brought back a lot memories, that I can't thank you (the editor and uploader) for.

Blake, cool yeah jets mate, you're a bit too full on. Borderline stalker vibes. Be subtle and give the girl room to breath hey 😂

The chemistry between them was hard to define there was a pure connection between them onset I believe they had wonderful friendship on and 🩷🕊️🩷 off screen 🩷🩵🤍 Rest In Peace 🕊️ Beautiful Cathy Goldbold 🕊️🤍🩵🩷💫

Here's to Cathy. Having watched someone go through this day to day over several years, this performance of hers was astounding, totally and utterly authentic and believable. Acting this must have taken everything out of her. May you rest in peace Cathy, you've helped so many people by playing this role, including me. ❤

Remember watching this at university when I was 19, it was all we talked about in the student house while it was on.

Blake was the only one who respected Meg's wishes and he tried to make her last few Months enjoyable.

As a mother ,julia has had to shoulder her daughters cancer as a single mum on top of everything else your relationship is that much more intense even without meg and Julias situation with the cancer Letting go is always more difficult too .can see both sides of the story Meg is a teenager so is Blake julia tries to accommodate Blake eventually and ot turns out they could support each other with having her last moments bringing everyone closer Teenagers arguing aith parents is fairly standard behaviour i yhink they handle the characters dilemma very well and managed to stop gossiping. There are good role models in this part of the series with good parenting .managing to reCh a compromise at the end .the characters supporting julia andBlake worked well i liked Aisa's maturity dealing with Blake . You have to allow your teenagers freedom its part of being a good parent single parenting makes it harder to let go .i found it was very well written and the characters convincing

This storyline is so sad it not fair Meg character is going to die and she is young. Blake and Meg really love each other. She deserves all dreams to come true before she pass away. This storyline made me cry my mum pass away from cancer like Blake mum. Cathy Godbold and Les Hill should got Logie playing this role.

Wow, how sad. Blake couldn't look at Meg and she knew because the doctor did tests too but she didn't want to hear it. When he ran out, that confirmed it. You sympathise with meg's mother but she's so cruel to Blake. He's in bits and it's like his feelings don't matter. She's acting like he caused everything. First she said he would leave meg and she was protecting her then when he didn't, she still seemed to hate him. She didn't want to share her daughter understandable but he made meg happy. She seemed so cold. Like telling him not to be there although she could have died. He's always so polite to her and she just lashes out. At least her daughter was happy
