Im a service plumber and just into this problem today! All 4 roof vents topped off woth acorns! I suspected squirrels but did see woodpeckers doing it for sure?

I have one mounted on my Flatbed, I modified it with larger pulleys on the beam. Cable was cutting through the small roller in the square tube.

it will lift a 5.3 v8... i did something similar but mounted it to a hitch where i can remove it

Bought a house 2 years ago. I went onto the roof to inspect it and saw that the vents were topped with wire screens. I thought "great", pipes are clear. No problem. Later on, the bathroom sinks were draining slow.... ok, the short version. The screened capped pipes were both filled to about 1 1/2 feet of the top with acorns AND some were SPROUTING! The same thing was happening with the guaranteed for life, not to clog Leaf Guard Gutters. Yup! More acorns and some with 3-4 inch sprouts! The local company that installed them came out to bid on the new roof. They actually pride themselves on being the most expensive roofing company. Like 2x the highest price bid that we already got. So much for the "guaranteed for life" gutters. He said that only applied to the original owner. But he did say that if we took his bid at $27K, he'd include a warrantee for the gutters. LOL
