I'm 16 and I'm gonna be building a guitar for the first time. I got a cheap Tele kit, but I'll be upgrading all the parts. Anyways, I'll be using Duplicolor and your video really helped. Thank you!

I have a question. Will lowering the spring-tensioned bridge damage the blades? I'm asking because with a new guitar I don't know whether to completely remove the springs so as not to damage the blades and pins.
@letsbuildaguitar9230
@letsbuildaguitar9230 15 күн бұрын
It is a controversial argument that gets brought up a lot! I think it’s best to release tension first, especially on new bridges….this is something I should have addressed in the video!

the spruce acoustic at @25.00 sounded verry good (better than the one before it was less bitey / agressive sounding), neck heel and the piece transfering intoo the headstock looked a little chunky but the rest was verry nicely made , i agree though that that first one was better made

I am so glad I saw this video on my feed. I found my dads old floyd and got some new strings for it, didn't know how to set up the action but it was tolerable. With this video I can go back and do some fine tuning. Only issue is that every time I try to push the bar towards the neck it just doesn't seem to budge but works fine when I pull it back.

Wow!!! I was SO impressed with the acoustic guitar finish. I love looking at antiques. The electronics were very interesting to watch. It brought back my memories of when I was like 8 years old taking everything apart or breaking it to see how it worked. Great video! Keep them rolling!

My ideas for a vibrating plate is maybe get a vibrating exercise plate. You can adjust the speed of vibrations with a remote.
@JorgeB-z1j
@JorgeB-z1j Ай бұрын
Question. When you adjust height, isn't it a bit harmful for the knife edges if you do it with tension on them? More so on a cheaper floyd? Or is it ok to do it like so? I did notice interestingly enough the second time you just removed the back springs (nice move imo.) I'd be nice to see how you did it
@letsbuildaguitar9230
@letsbuildaguitar9230 Ай бұрын
Thanks! It’s interesting how this one point has raised more controversy on my videos than any other. Some argue that it absolutely destroys it! Others argue that it’s been proven that it doesn’t….maybe if you do it a lot! I do typically loosen the tension….I think it’s probably better. But it does make me wonder if it could be much harder on them than doing lots of dive bombing…there would be a lot of pressure on the same surface and there is movement even when using the trem.

Wow!! What a beautiful coat! I love the artwork of the flowers. Mr. X is right. Creating a masterpiece takes time. If you don't take the time and have fun doing it, it will not turn out. I personally do paintings and if I don't take time and have fun doing it they look pretty bad. The inlay design looks great!
