cool! love the mountain shots. Reminded me a touch of the Andes, but with much more snow. Parts of Saigon gave me memories of Lima. Beautiful guitars!

Enjoyed that, Steve...brings back a lot of memories, sounds, smells!! Wish I was with you, my friend. Enjoy and good luck with the distribution...it blesses lives, but you'll more fully understand truly how much!

That guitar street is also right next to a great market and food street; the first place I had breakfast in Saigon (and the second time out of many that I was asked if I was married yet). :-)

This was lovely to watch; I was in Saigon last March and stayed about 3 blocks from that street. It was one of the first places I sought out. It was fun seeing you try and find your way on some of the exact same streets I was on nearly every day. Saigon is an amazing place; a little overwhelming at first but the people are great and they make all the difference.

Thanks for sharing, it’s so fun to hear from someone who has been there. You’re the first person who has commented that has actually had an experience similar to mine.

@@letsbuildaguitar9230 I was looking more for traditional instruments; I saw lots of guitars for sale there of course but had no idea of the range in quality of instruments being made there. Next time I’ll pay more attention. I was still jet lagged and a little overwhelmed; to be honest!

I don't know about now because I haven't checked in years, but on eBay a seller used to sell beautiful ukuleles made in Vietnam with beautiful workmanship and inlay work. I don't know how good they sound but they were beauties.

Good price. I would probably buy one with a brand name, even if it's Vietnam made. Brand name suggest the builder has pride in his products.

I’m right there with you about lifting the blind and unfortunately I didn’t look at my ticket last year on my way to Thailand and I got the seat over the wing and I was gutted and on the journey back they put me in the middle seats . Next time I’ll specify where I seat. Great talk you gave there mate. All the best to you. Xxx

the spruce acoustic at @25.00 sounded verry good (better than the one before it was less bitey / agressive sounding), neck heel and the piece transfering intoo the headstock looked a little chunky but the rest was verry nicely made , i agree though that that first one was better made
