I lived this exact experience when I was 17 (turned 18 in the clinic) it’s bizarre the resemblance to the clinic it was a lot more discipline towards the girl refusing to eat (feeding tube immediately) but pretty accurate. I am 29 now - several relapses after my first intervention.. sick since 13.. I’m definitely in a relapse right now.. watching videos in yt used to be so bad to my health… yt used to be so filled with raw videos of ed.. I’m happy they are more censored now. Sending love to anyone going through this❤

I’ve been inpatient for an eating disorder clinic, and thankfully, it was not as chaotic as this group. I’d shut down from all the overwhelming stimuli 🤯 Makeup is way overdone as well… Dialogue is great, at the end

Have you consulted anyone that has actually been impatient. It is portrayed as fun and happy and people are nice and that is a misrepresentation. It’s not like camp. People may not be your age or gender, they are generally unfriendly and staff is usually unkind.

I remember when i went to treatment the 3rd time and I hadn't had a full meal in years. I thought I was smart enough to hide food and give excuses. They kicked me out, sent me to the hospital and gave me 2 weeks to live. I had a heart attack but survived and still healing 18 years later. God is my saviour. Bless you all

The makeup is much too heavy handed (trying to make them look sickly). One justification used often for not accepting help is that you don’t think you’re “sick enough”. To compare yourself with others who seem to be more sick than you and to tell yourself you’re not worthy of help. The heavy makeup reinforces that stereotype.

I honestly would rather have their issues than be like me!! I don't see what is wrong with being skinny. At least you are actually seen when skinny unlike being fat!

There is nothing wrong with being skinny but being underweight/having an ED (like the girls in the video) is very dangerous. I promise you don't want the issues ED causes. (Yellow skin, your mind thinking of food all of the time, constipation, hair fall out, social impact, anger issues, and MUCH MORE.)
