They should have had the Gia Sissaouri/Tom Brands match from the 1995 worlds on here. Gia got screwed on that fleeing the mat call. He should have won gold that year.

I need a Netflix show showing Ben’s rise to an NCAA title. The attraction that would bring to wrestling could be fantastic.

I went to middle and high school with Brent at Davison, played football together. And knew his older brother chase, who was also a monster. Brent was a freak athlete, and had an insane mindset, with an unstoppable motor constantly running at full throttle… intense and physical are two words that I can describe him as. Also, I graduated a year behind him, in 06. Graduated with Reader, and played sports all together throughout middle and high school. Same thing with Jon, just insane mindset, athlete all around…

What a crock saying it was god that told him to go to Penn State. He obviously wanted to go or he wouldn’t have contacted Penn State to begin with. He talked it over with family and friends/coaches, but all they did was cast doubt. His mind was made up because as he stated the potential in Pennsylvania, basically being in the center of HS wrestling powerhouse states. If “god” answered his question in his prayer, then why doesn’t he ask this god that why doesn’t he do something about all the starving and abused children, especially children raped by God’s own clergy instead of wasting time telling a wrestling coach what to do?

This is great news. Love your content. I personally don’t mind you being ISU biased, but look at my username. ISU is back near where they belong. They are a top 4 program of all time and need to be in the top 5 at NCAAs every year. Dresser is doing great things.

Cael is an asshole.. he’s very well aware of what not to do to embarrass him or his family. Something his mother would teach him on growing up.. He was all about him.. for what he did to Douglas can never be forgiven. The energy he created followed him to where it was best that he leave Iowa. He’s a hated man and fortunately for that state, they have more class than himself. The bigger conspiracy behind closed doors was to burn down Iowa and what Douglas had built. Sanderson will always be about himself privately and his actions prove that. Everything that happened proves this . I’m not going to shit on what he’s done at Penn State but all he did was wanted to create his own narrative outside of Bobby Douglas. He felt his coach got too much of the reasoning why he was great. He wanted a different scenario legacy. He ruined a man that helped build who he was. He ruined a program that had always been kinda like the “Yankees”.. He didn’t want it to be “The House that Douglas Built” This is literally about an unreasonable feeling of entitlement . Good for him but no one really speaks his name … cos of the man he chose to be. That, he will have to atone for in the end.

This has a great documentary format for sports movements but the visuals are really bad. I'm watching this from the viewpoint of not knowing anyone but Cael Sanderson, so when you use Disney animations to represent every other person I am really confuses . just show the coaches, players and everyone involved like a normal documentary. The commentary is really good and I want to be able to follow this better.

Iowa is a great wrestling state, but the population base isn't large. Then add on that every wrestler growing up in Iowa wants to go to the U of I and Sanderson saw that he'd never be able to recruit the same level of talent necessary to win Championships.

I’d say iowa st has the edge over iowa at this point. Iowa has significant holes at 33 and 41. Had they gotten Alirez from the portal I would’ve gone with iowa but at this time; not sure iowa has the roster to beat ISU. Don’t like saying that but it is what it is…
