I've been using karma for at least 10 years as a guideline of my score, never had an issue with them and recommend them to ppl

5 dollars a day from 25 to 65 in basic index funds inside a Roth IRA will 1.1 million dollars , or 44000 a year tax free with cost of living raises every year in retirement .

Don't get discouraged just because you can "only" invest like $100 per month. It can compound to tremendous wealth over the course of decades. The important thing is that you keep going!

My advice: to grow financially this year, invest. Saving is good, but investing elevates your finances. Thanks to my financial advisor, my portfolio is thriving, and I'm proud of last year's decisions.

Nice. People often underestimate financial advisors' importance. Over 50 years of data reveal that those who work with advisors typically earn more than those who go it alone. I've been fortunate to work with one for 13 years, resulting in a $3 million portfolio.

Why do you go out 30years? Just do the $200 a month in investments and after 24 years pay off your mortgage with the money you have been investing and use the rest of the money any way you want.

The title is clickbait. The question is: "What do you do starting at 60 y/o if you are broke to get a $1M nest egg by age 70?" THAT'S THE QUESTION MANY BOOMERS HAVE WHO HAVE MADE NUMEROUS INVESTMENT MISTAKES.

Im kinda old, and ive asked many older ppl about the great depression. They always say, "we did not have much but we always had food, there was always something to eat." That is not as true for people today.

One thing to mention - many people have mortgage rates less than 3% - at that rate, it almost always makes sense to invest instead of paying off the mortgage.

Me too, saved about 200,000 USD on interest to the bank, lowered the risk of interest fluctuations, payed off 14 years earlier than the 20 years loan.

You forgot to account for the 80% stock market collapse and the 50% real estate implosion coupled with 100 grand in maintenance costs and the serial refinancing people do in order to use their home like an ATM to finance profligate spending. Also, it’s going to be really hard to pay off a house and/or invest without a job. 😅

Its beyond me why the loan didnt drop in worth as well. All the tools that said ot was worh X at the time are the same tools that say its now Y. Especially during that time when all the banks were bailed out. Its a scam.

Your equation for Payment History % is ***way*** off. The true general formula is ( [number of prior payments] - [number of late payments] ) / [number of prior payments] = PH%. In the example used in the video, that means (120 - 3)/120 = 97.5%. Using the formula that you give, we would get the result 120 - (3/120) = 119.975%, which makes no sense at all. (The Payment History percentage cannot be above 100%!) Careful use of parentheses in formulas. It's a thing.
