I’d probably suggest painting the metal bristles a bright color, incase any ever come out they would be easier to spot

Here in the UK, the most accurate weather app is AccuWeather, I especially like their Current Conditions and RealFeel. The Met Office's app is second, but they only have a forecast for the following hour and no current conditions.

(1) bro what phone is that, tha gabb phone z2 💀 (2) MyRadar is definitely the best weather app. Has awesome maps & the most accurate forecast I've ever seen. (3) Ryan Hall is good, but I've been watching Max Velocity as he streams way more often.

Thanks for the video, and thanks for the tips on improving the performance of the sweeper. I'm wondering if you compare it to any other lawn sweepers? I've seen but have not used the Gardena on sweeper and I was wondering how it compared to that one

I'm just wondering, does this hold a significant advantage over just running over the lawn with a riding lawn mower with a bag attachment and picking up the leaves that way.

Thanks for posting a helpful, and very honest review of this equipment. While I generally liked what I saw, I was a bit turned off at the fact that it took duct tape to remedy two different shortfalls with it. Then when I saw the price, this revelation became even more objectionable. Quite frankly, I’m not able to justify a $200 price for something that needs duct taping to improve its performance, and certainly NOT right out of the box. I’ve used duct taping actions many times over the years, but this was typically done WELL AFTER a product’s initial use, and it was usually for minor repair purposes. That said, nice job on the informative review.

Does it come with a cover for the collection bin? Otherwise it looks great. It is very windy where I live and I'm skeptical the leaves will stay in. Also, my leaves make a ton of dust when they're mulched. It seems like I would be walking into a cloud the whole time.

I am surprised you use a manual push sweeper to clean such a large lawn-mine takes about an hour to mow. I am a senior,and there is no way I would do what you do - I take my hat off to you! My sweeper ,which I inherited from my dad, is about 65 years old,and still works great. It is all metal,with a cloth catcher. You say you detach your collector to dump the contents when it gets full. I lay out a tarp,and just roll my sweeper up to the tarp,and turn the whole thing over,which is a lot less work and far faster than detaching the catcher. It doesn't bother me that that method leaves some leaves in the catcher.

I've tried leveling with sand in Chicago. It sounds like a great idea. The lawn initially looked great. Nice and level. But after having the sweltering sun hit the lawn for days on end, the sand gets hot, just like on a sunny day at the beach, and burns up the grass/turf/soil below. So you start seeing yellowing of the grass - especially if you don't keep up with watering. But water can only keep the sand temperature down so long. I wouldn't advise leveling with sand. A grated top soil mixed with some good compost is the best option, in my experience.

I just installed this and like others that bought it (look at reviews on HDs website) I had multiple bolts break. Both the lags and 1/4-20 screws are made of the softest metal imaginable. Bought new 5/16" lag bolts and bought new Grade 8 1/4-20 (3/4") long bolts from Tractor Supply ( you can buy by the pound there). Another bad area of design on this product is the single 1/4-20 bolt attaching the vertical bars to the ceiling mounts. 2 5/16 lags on each mount and 2 screws everywhere else, but this one section only has 1 1/4" bolt. WEAK POINT. Add another bar to one of the slots of the ceiling mount and have it angle down to an unused hole in the vertical bars to strengthen this connection.

THanks for your review. Have you ever tried dethatching your lawn and then using the sweeper to pick up all the dead grass it pulled out? I' wondering how it works for that, or maybe that isn't much different from sweeping freshly cut lawn? Thanks!

Hey, I'm new to the lawn leveling community but have good growing experience. I'm starting to find out how addictive and satisfying this process is after leveling my lawn this year. recently I've had a few people in the neighborhood who have been observing my progress and are starting to show interest in me doing this for their lawns. I'm in Manitoba Canada and there is nobody providing this service and I'm toying with the idea of trying to maybe get my foot in the door. I'm wondering how you decide what to charge for a full lawn level from start to finish product? do you have a ballpark fee per square foot or do you quote jobs based on individual situations? I know there's a bunch of factors to consider but I'm just looking for a rough starting point. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

I love Windy. Its packed with radar features and the visualizations are as beautiful as Dark Sky. Its the only weather app that I set up an account because its so customizable. It is however a bit of a learning curve to use and understand what some of the colors and information means on the forecast tiles. And I agree it does get a bit inaccurate. I find the best solution is to use multiple weather apps. The Weather Channel usually comes ontop of the forecastadvisor accuracy rankings (so does Microsoft aka MSN) so I use this with Windy and like you said, many apps TWC included started adapting the by the minute forecast. Another honorable mention that gets high marks for accuracy by forecastadvisor is Foreca.

Yeah, it is! Use gallery 75 for your pre-emergent. I used that this year and it's really kept the majority of chamber bitter from coming back. I've seen it here and there in a couple areas where I must have missed applying it well. But so far so good. I think if I get another good fall application, it will completely eliminate it. That product is expensive but I think it's worth it if you have a bad case
@waza9876 ай бұрын
It looks great and I found where I can get it here in Australia but I will probably get a cheaper one. I figure for a quarter of the price it does not matter so much if I need to replace it. And also with a smaller yard and tight spots between the trees a 21 inch rather the 26 might be better.
