The very first note of the solo is wrong, it should be the 2nd fret of the 5th string (B) not the 4th string. Also in the intro George plays that ascending scale on the 6th string only up to G# (4th fret) and not all the way to A (5th fret) as in the video.

I have this slide and cord bought from the guy who tracked down the guitar- the guitar was sold last year but the buyer didn’t want the accessories- now I need to find a Hofner 5140 Hawaiian Standard lap steel - worked perfectly on this song - love the sound! Thanks for sharing it ❤️

Also, it should be Asus to A in the verses. You can draw a straight line between this song and Woman.

Honestly, what's always been so cool about this song to me is how it's one of the first guitar songs in recorded history along with Moby Dick and Kashmir by Led Zeppelin that's in drop D tuning. This song, being from 1968, is in the same tuning that 22 years later in the 1990s, would be used in Outshined, Jesus Christ Pose, by Soundgarden, and Sober by Tool. When John was writing this song in Rishikesh and he tuned his low E string on his guitar down to D, he had no idea that at somepoint in the future, men named Chris Cornell, Kim Thayil and Adam Jones would be using his very same tuning in their songs. I always feel like this song is the father to those songs.

Check my alternate mix, "demixing" the 2023 Blue mix with IA, and then remixing on Adobe Audition from 4 stereo tracks available. It was donde for fun and educational purposes, highlighting several elements, especially Paul's bass and Ringo's drums. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHeZqa2pqryKd6c

The best part of this song is the opening drum roll. It has that tumbling feel to it and seems to set the rhythm for the rest of the song.

So basically just chords, hardly any different from the Lead and Rhythm Guitar parts.

Your bridge chords are wrong. 5:08 should be a Dm6 as Paul is playing a D in the bass and the chord after that should be an open C#7 (like an open C7 but second fret.) ☺

Try and buy a Rickenbacker 325 at your local guitar store. If they have one, you are looking at $3,500 easy.

I like that you got the A7 in the middle. George did play it in error on one of the takes they spliced together. George Martin kept that take for the final master recording.

Easy to learn, hard to master. Ringo’s style is so out of this world. The more I listen, the more I appreciate it. All of his drum scores are made to fit in with the song…

B7…man I hate this chord so bad. Genuinely struggle with it. The Beatles are true musical geniuses. I tried to play this and the speed and chord changes are hectic, at least for me. This must be my next guitar.
