Does anyone know what strings he uses on the Rickenbaker?

I don’t think Ringo used a stick and a brush on this song. If you look closely at Ringo’s hand during the “For You Blue” clip from the Let It Be film, you’ll notice another brush in his left hand. This implies that Ringo was playing the drums with two brushes, and not one stick and one brush. Great job though, Brendan.

Great job Ably House and that snare sounds amazing, what is it? Are you hitting a rim shot too? Thanks for any info.

I love that bass! I'm playing along on a Rickenbacker 4003 with flatwound strings, but I'm looking at great interest in your Paul McCartney copy. Where did you get it?

How many microphones did you use for this song and where did they point them? (Translated from Japanese.)

Can you upload the drum track, please?

The drums are a combination of Daniel and I both playing drums. I had some ideas of what I wanted but I’m not very proficient. The part was inspired by Michael Diadarrio’s drumming of the Lemon Twigs. I recorded my idea on the drums but didn’t film it. I only filmed Daniel and then used a comp of both of us for the final. I’ll look into it tomorrow, but that was the issue. I won’t have footage that matches for the whole thing

I noticed an internal muffler on the snare. Why don’t you turn that mufffler on and make a short demonstration video in which you play your snare without the muffler on, and then with the muffler on? How about that?
@joellebrodeur101518 күн бұрын
May I ask why your guitar strings sound so dead and badly intonated? I have a '96 325v63 and 1983 320. I would lose my mind if my guitars sounded that bad.
