sounds like good stuff. but that audio was terrible. Wearing headphones and it's like someone is scratching the mic on my left ear and she's only talking in my right.

This video rocks. The title barely captures the breadth of content - this Californian (Yosemite loyalist) looks forward to taking the short drive from D.C. to Shenandoah here soon!

I didn’t know they had this I just joined some new video KZbin website of the Shenandoah national Park and they started on the first day of fall and every Thursday it said they would do a broadcast so next year I will be watching for that. I thought you might like to take a virtual trip to skyline Drive, or maybe the next time you come down we could drive when we’re not in a hurry and I take the skyline Drive down to Luray to go to Michael‘s house I would not go up from Michael’s house because it’s very steep and hard on the cars.

As much as I LOVE the park and the drive as I have visited and stayed many times, lets not forget the many, many families who were displaced from these beautiful mountains to make the park. They deserve recognition for their sacrifices also.

Do you expect to have any fall leaves left next week (around the 17th)

Which entrance way is for Skyline driving from the beginning to the end in order to view the Autumn Leaves color change? This is my first time to visit so I searched on the Google maps it shows so many locations.

it is easy to overlook our past as we spent our presence and we look forward to the future. my fathere in law who i never met before his passing yet my departed wife had a picture of him doing trail work with the ccc.

When would you say peak fall foliage usually hits Big Meadows itself? Especially those red blueberries?

Thanks so much for continuing to do these videos. They really, really do help me with my trip planning for the last few years so I can have the best shot at seeing the best autumn colors!

Would late next week be too late for bright colors? I know sometimes colors can change quickly.
@hungban449 ай бұрын
Went there yesterday from mile 1 to mile mark 30. I will say the peak is definitely late this year and could be 7-10 days away.

Going to Shenandoah NP to enjoy Fall Foliage became our family tradition. I live in Southern California and visit my son and his family in Maryland every year around this time. This year, I made a reservation for Skyland Resort from October 16 through 19. Is it too early for fall colors this year? This autumn happens to be quite warm, and Maryland is still green. I suppose high elevations of Skyline Drive make cooler temperatures and hope to see some change of colors.

The only advantage I can think of film over digital is resolution and that is only when shooting with formats larger than 35mm. Anything equal or lesser than 35mm does not offer any advantage over digital in any way except for artistic expression and enjoyment of the process and that is something very subjective.
