What are black bears doing in the fall?

My older brother and I were backcountry camping there once...just parked the car, we hadn't even got out yet and momma and baby black bear come strolling right by my car with us inside.....and they just kept walking by like we weren't even there. Just beautiful and what perfect timing 🥰⛰️
