I just blocked someone and cut them off for good after months of them hurting me. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to deal with something like this, but it’s the first time I handled it so gracefully. I finally told them how I felt, and you know what they did? They used ChatGPT to respond to my entire message. When I called them out, they admitted it, then completely missed the point of what I said. Instead of addressing how they hurt me, they started defending themselves, saying things like, “Maybe we weren’t meant to be friends” and comparing me to their other friends. I made it clear to them, “I’m not your friends,” because I wasn’t going to let them deflect like that. After that, I waited for a response for 2-3 days, only to see them online posting and gaming like I didn’t even exist. That’s when I knew I was done. A grown man who can’t take accountability? No thanks. I’ve dealt with enough disrespect to last me a lifetime. Here’s the thing I’m actually so proud of myself. My old self would’ve lost it, cursed them out, and let it ruin me for weeks. But this time, I handled it with grace and walked away. It still hurts a little because I did care about this person, but it doesn’t feel as heavy as I thought it would. I’m not crying for days or letting it mess up my life. I’m back to singing, gaming, watching TV, and just enjoying life again. That person was nothing but a bad distraction. Now, I’m back on track and focused on myself. I even deactivated my social media FB and IG to really focus inward. Something good is coming my way I can feel it. This is growth, and I don’t even recognize my old self anymore, in the best way possible.

Bro said last time the love interest with a red car would be the one. Only person I had any interest in with a red SUV (that was prominent in our conversations CoInCiDenTaLlY) just announced engagement and leaving the place I know them at. Have a nice life I guess.
