I have to agree 100%. Starting a business in Belgium is for crazy people. If you wanne pay high taxes, Belgium is the best country in the world . 45 up to 55% taxes on your business income. I wouldn't recommend anyone to start a business here

45 up to 55% that’s personal tax not corporate tax(vennootschapsbelasting). Belgium can be great if you know the right people with knowing ways to benefit the most.. but hiring people is where it becomes crazy expensive since you got to pay like 20,5% rsz off the employee salary before rsz or tax has gone off..

I want to start a rental or airbnb business in Lombardy/Piedmont. How would you say that the possibilities are like for that? Is it possible for me to start a business in my home country Sweden and operate in Italy? My partner really wants to live in Italy as she is from there but I have a hard time seeing myself having a good career there compared to Sweden so i am thinking of supplementing my income with rental income.
