Das Leder wird rutschen, da es nicht verklebt ist. Ausserdem macht man das alte Leder runder. Alles andere ist Kacke..

no need to remove the existing foam, the cover goes on top of it and wrap around

Nice but brooo Alcántara on that special point? Alcantara will smell funky and then bad really soon with hand oils and dirt….. I don’t really like Alcántara on cars I like them to smell clean and fresh but alcantara always ends smelling really disgusting…. I always got dizzy when I entered a car that smells bad and Alcántara seats, dashboards, high linnin, doors, wheels, or fabric carpets always make even the most luxurious and expensive car stinks really bad… awesome work tho bro.

Doesn't effect self driving but does mean the heated wheel takes longer to warm up and will be slightly cooler than before

This is a very poor way to do it you should be removing the airbag and the trim for a factory finish And that’s not even alcantara 😂😂😂 If you need professional fittings in the northwest shout me and also for better covers get in touch 😉

I did this on my previous M2, then this tutorial didn't exist unfortunately. This was a really good video showing how to handle a few of the challenges with getting the overlay aligned and such. Also, the double sided tape is a really good thing which my kit didn't come with.

Looking more like a how *NOT* to video. You used the same thread instead of doing each area separately then didn't pull it tight during the install resulting in gaping holes near the spokes.

I ordered this and while he makes it look easy,. The alcantara was too thick and cut too long to fit between the trims. The tool they sent completely bent and deformed with light pressure to medium pressure, I was able to finally after struggling get the bottom in , but the rear won’t go in but because the material is so thick it wouldn’t snug in the back . Don’t now how he managed to get this done ,. Perhaps used a thinner material but I wish I could post pictures so you see what i mean. Don’t waist your money

Restoring the leather would mean no alcantara and no centre line, he likes it that way.
