My starter never did anything after strting over three 3 times, it was very watery.. what did I do wrong??

If it’s very watery you need to give it more flour than water at a feeding. It’s hungry when it gets watery. I do a very thick feeding every time.

The tree did ok and didn’t seem to drop any blossoms. It set a couple fruits but I haven’t checked it lately to see if they are still holding on. ☺️

That’s how I do it. Except I use filtered water. Also, I don’t worry too much about having a freshly activated starter. If my starter looks somewhat ok, meaning not completely flat, I go ahead and make bread. So far so good. In my case I noticed a clear difference in the rise by using organic flour. But other than that, I keep it simple.

We just ground up rabbit with the Kitchen Aid for the first time and it came out very mushy. But hoping I did something wrong. Maybe we can add some binder to it when cooked to help. Any suggestions?

I find that it ends up kind of mushy as well, I think because it’s pretty tender already and has a lot of moisture content it just makes it mushy. But it does cook up great. Sometimes I add some fine breadcrumbs to ours, but a lot of times I don’t.

Yes the buildings and utilities/ septic are all on the back half of our 1 acre property. That’s also where all the giant oak trees are so the only sunny parts are out front. 😅❤️

I love home made bread. Fought with it a time or two but I think I may have got the hang of it. Problem is my oven has an issue preheating slowly (something broke 🤷🏻♀️) so it takes FOREVER.. and my son drives me bananas being picky. 😢 Everyone else loves it.

@@Lonewolf_1776 I’m sure that would be the case. We got them for the purpose of milking and just eating the extra boys but that plan kind of fell through and we put these two older ones in the freezer. We sold the three youngest.
