NAMASKARji : not all afro Indians were brought by Portuguese and British. Many tribes are indigenous there also : the JARAWAS and sentinels are there long time ago.

This is an extremely interesting fact. As an African(Ugandan) student who studies Uni just an hour away from that village in Rajkot City, I feel really honored by that gesture which brings out another picture of India.

I'm sad why these people are not allowed to have education. Is India government selfish? They are now considered as Indian citizen, well I hope one day Indian government will offer them good education...godbless❤❤❤ Watching from the Philippines 🇵🇭

Missionaries came and converted them citing discrimination against them. Now it’s better for those missionaries to tell them that they don’t belong to any caste as they got them got of it to new faith Christianity. Other wise what purpose did missionary serve? Just increasing number of their followers? That will be appalling and betrayal of India.

Many villages in India have education only upto primary school. For high school, one has to go to nearest bigger village. Or government has formed group of nearby villages and one of the village will have high school. And for university, one will have to go to near by town. This is the format in which it has been developed. As more and more people have started moving into cities and as government wishes that people move to cities, it does not make sense to build university colleges in villages and it isn’t viable as well. Thanks for your thoughts..

Tanzanian president had asked the Indian government to relocate them but Indian government rejected it and asked Tanzania not to venture into such things. Let me be more precise. Siddhis from Goa now in karnataka are of Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique. Siddhis in gujarat are from Ethiopia. Not sure exactly which tribes.. Both have different histories. Gujarati siddhis were brought here by Arabs and karnataka siddhis were brought here by Portuguese.. Gujarati siddhis are 300-400 year old in India and karnataka siddhis are 500-600 year old in India.

Brother do you guys hold on to what you comment? 3 years back a Kenyan from nybonhase came and had promised the same but now he is lost in his multi national multi wives relationships to birth 10-20 babies. You are visiting all siddhi villages meeting each and every siddhi telling everyone that you will open contribution account to take them to Africa. Let’s see what you will do!!

Great you are dear Friend You are connecting all the Africans across the globe by your visits and discovery of their common roots. Have you heard of the Bonda tribe in Odisha an East Indian state. It is said the Bondas are related to the Turkana tribes of Kenya. I was amazed to learn of their African roots of 60,000 years old. Siddis are only 500 or less years old in India. Keep up maki g connections and championing their cause.

Those who are saying India should provide them equal treatment. Let me tell you, they fall under schedule tribe category and are included in reservation in every government sector, reservation in education sector, etc.. Now , what you want to make them king and feed them with hands.

I guess they might be from Kenya this is where most of the Indians got our people to go work for them and they never came back, if our government can allocate land for them anywhere in the country let them come home I know how they feel because they don’t have the rights like the locals there.
