I never colored my hair. My hairdressers always tell me how pretty my hair is. I used to feel bad in my 30’s because I was going grey, but now I love it. I’m older now and never colored my hair and never will. I love my grey hair.

That looks like way more maintenance to upkeep because it's just as bleached and colored. Roots are going to very noticeable.

Besides the haunting idea of going totally gray, you need to remember that gray hair has a much different texture than younger hair (pre-gray). It tends to be dryer and coarser than pre-gray hair. If you look at a gray haired woman's temples, you will understand what I'm talking about.

I've had gray hair to some degree since age 14. Now, at 60, I stopped coloring and have been fully transitioned for several years. My biggest issue is that the back of my hair continues to grow in as a dark gray, and my middle, front, and sides are completely white. Toner or purple shampoo tends to somewhat brighten the white parts ( yet I still constantly battle brass in those areas), but it darkens and muds out the darker gray part in the back. ( The color difference and constantly fighting the brass drives me nuts). My stylist and the others here in my small town are of no help. They won't do anything to help blend it, and they also dont want me to do anything to it either. They're like, dont do anything to it, you'll ruin your transition. But what they dont realize is how much I hate my hair the way it is right now and has been for too many years now. Not a day goes by that I dont consider either bleaching out the darker section or grabbing another bottle of color and just covering the entire transition up so it will match and not be brassy.
