We regret moving here, in winter it is a fucking cold hell, the romance with snow goes away after a week, but you can argue that summer must be good, yes the weather is fine, if only there were not a million mosquitoes every square meter, they are super aggressive. My wife and i, nearly 40 Years ago, spent our holidays there. The first time, 4 weeks good weather, and we found it the nicest place on the Planet. Next Year we were there for 5 weeks and hat torrential rainfall, every day and this was the end of a lovestory.

I visited in1983. After watching this I wouldn't want to return. It was a sleepy village with burros in the street and cost,2 dollars a night for a bed or you could just sling a hammock from a coconut tree!! NOT now, every space has a building on it!! OMG

I'm a mixed race American, but my mother's family has been in Värmland for more than 600 years. I've never been there but I'm proud of my Swedish and Nordic heritage. Seeing it here is wonderful. I must go there, aquire land and build. Skål!
