The landscape of Varmland, Sweden

I'm a mixed race American, but my mother's family has been in Värmland for more than 600 years. I've never been there but I'm proud of my Swedish and Nordic heritage. Seeing it here is wonderful. I must go there, aquire land and build. Skål!

My wife and i, nearly 40 Years ago, spent our holidays there. The first time, 4 weeks good weather, and we found it the nicest place on the Planet. Next Year we were there for 5 weeks and hat torrential rainfall, every day and this was the end of a lovestory.

I am a spanish art-painter and many years ago, I used to cycling along two summers, in Varmland and Dalarna, that has been an unforgetable experience in my life, as I was travelling alone, but everyday, i used to meet and talk with so many friendly persons !- Nu, jag lerare ett svar svenska sprak, och hoppas, somebody will help me ...Tack so mycket, and greetings from Malaga-Spain !!

My Grandma Hedvig was born in Ostmark in 1906. She and her family came to the US on the Lusitania when she was a girl. They settled in Northern Idaho, with similar landscape.

Beautiful nature and tranquility - while you can find amazing nature almost everywhere in Europe, the tranquility is not so common in the Western and Central Europe.

My grandparents moved to värmland when I was very little. I visit them every summer I love this place and someday I'll live there too
