I'm so glad I thought to look for this video, I bought the lustre cream and shoe wax polish when I got my American duchess shoes but I've been too unsure about how to use them, but now I feel far better equipped to care for my shoes (and they're my favourite shoes)!

Hello, I'm so confused by the sizing. I fall in between the two packets available so it's always a headache trying to figure out whether to go higher or lower. My measurements are closest to 14 if I go by my bust measurement. Waist goes higher than that, to like a 16 or so. I keep seeing other people say that these stays were not the right size when they went by the measurements on the back. But here they are saying that they went by their measurements on the packet. I would love to know if anyone has any advice about this. I don't like sizing a pattern up or down myself when it could have been avoided.

I have a super high instep. Like... I've never been able to wear Mary-Janes (the straps are *always* too short) or mules (feet literally don't go into the shoe)... I just tried some gorgeous Oxfords from you and... No. Too low. Big sad...😢 But worth trying.

Would this be something that would be worn in the day time or just reserved for evening wear like a ballgown?

I would like to see how you make the sleeves but a tutorial rather than to much talking about it. I cant find any video help on this type of sleeve from 1830s.

The music over your voice makes it very difficult to hear and the music is also super annoying which is a shame because it seemed as though it would be an interesting topic.

Is the hardcover version of a work woman’s guide on Amazon the same thing as the book you have? I looked for them online and there’s some on eBay but they’re over $100.

They recreated this gown for Glenn Close in "Dangerous Liaisons" and reinterpreted it for Jessica Brown in "Harlots". Iconic portrait of Madame! I had occasion to see it in Munich - it surprised me how big it! ❤

Regarding japeanese influece. I don’t know about robes but Marie Antoinette had a Japanese lacquer collection she inherited ( maybe her mother’s? ) se also died her hair pink at some point. I have no idea how. This was very interesting thank so much for making such videos. Alkanet has some benefits for the skin too. Like anti inflammatory and healing properties.

If you wax after hydration, when you go to hydrate again is it okay to do it after you waxed? I realize not right after you wax but say it has been some months or a time period between? How long should a person wait to hydrate again on average. I know this depends on wear of the shoe and climate.
