Manhattan Victorian Cloth-Top Button Boots are based on original antique button boots in museum collections and our own archive of historic footwear. They feature true historical functionality with a 9-button closure paired with cotton canvas uppers and French heels for a snazzy look.
Wear Manhattan button boots with late Victorian and Edwardian attire, be it historical, cottagecore, dark academia, or historybounding. Manhattans are accurate for the 1890s all the way through to about 1925.
You will need a button hook to easily close your boots. Button hooks are sold separately.

Oh, these are lovely and I am considering to order a pair. However they don't quite fit my colour scheme. Since it's possible to dye ivory leather, I am assuming I could get the french blues and dye them to a prussian blue or indigo. Or is there something that would prevent that?

Yes, you could indeed, just be very careful with the dye around the ivory area if you want to keep it ivory. If you want to dye the ivory part, you'll want a fabric dye like International Professional Fabric Shoe Dye.

@@AmericanDuchess1 wonderful! I do a lot of arts and crafts stuff, so I am not worried about getting any dyes where I don't want them. And thank you for the fabric dye recommendation. I am not sure yet, whether I would want to dye the fabric too, so it's good to know that it's an option.

There is only one model that is vegan-friendly but it is only in white u_u. I'm a bit frustrated to not see other collection to have this option :/ But maybe one day?

actually, the all-canvas and rubber Kedwardians come in all black and navy blue with white soles, as well as all ivory

I am currently conflicted for this exact reason!! I hate buying leather, but my current alternative is buying new shoes every winter since they wear out so fast. So my inner vegan is crying for the cows but my environmentalist also wants to find shoes that seem like they might last longer than a few seasons. The struggle!!
