Nice recipe, but I would never let pastry come into contact with hot pie filling.

Hi, I seal the inside of my pie after its been blind baked, with the egg wash and just shut the lid or put back in the oven for a couple of minutes to dry it off. Seen a few bakers and people in the know doing this. Seems to work for me. I do it with quiche too. Jane

@jezbear1972Күн бұрын
you need a new pan. thats the problem with the bacon sticking. you've basically lost the non-stick on the pan. same happened to me. I got a stainless steel pan off amazon, never looked back. highly suggest getting one of those.

These are just amazing all of them, you should see my shopping list full of baking aisle stuff, only needed a chicken for tomorrow haha! Can’t wait to try the steam bake and the diet can wait lol. I cant have coffee at all so for the first cake, should I just double the cocoa, or just omit the expresso and not increase the cocoa? Hope that makes sense. Still working through your first book and loving great new recipe ideas. Hope you are well, Jan 😊❤xx

yes! it's ME again (am I driving you crazy yet? 😂 I'm just wondering why you used air fry + bake instead of the 'roast' function? Ohh there isn't a 'roast' function is there? Could you use a spray oil instead of pouring a lot of oil in the bowl? I'm on the Slimming World plan and haven't use pouring oil in years or would that affect the finish? It doesn't when I do them in the oven though.

Hi, it's me again, how much stock did you use for the sliced potatoes when you used the steam/roast? they look incredible.

Today my Ninja OL55OUK 11in1 Smartlid cooker arrived and it terrified me - I've been watching all your video's and you can't believe how happy I was when I saw you doing the roast chicken with the steam/air fry function (I couldn't make head nor tail of the manual). On Sunday I will be playing this video again in the kitchen in the hope I get it right .... THANK YOU 💜 (I'm off to watch the rest of your video's now) 😀 I don't think mine has the probe though - does it matter? How much water did you use?

I haven't got this function but I think I might try either steaming or pressure cooking before air frying because air frying from scratch takes quite a while.

@@christiner302 yes I’ve done this before, pressure cook is like microwaving to tenderise then air fry to finish 👍🏻
