Way too much cheese whiz. You wouldn't even be able to taste anything else lol

I'm 64 years old and raised on the east coast and I have eaten a lot of Philly cheese steaks but never had one with cheese whiz; that would ruin it for me. Always had provolone and sometimes combined with american white cheese; onions and chopped green peppers; sometimes with red peppers or both; sometimes mayo. I would pass on the pickle juice. I wonder how much they charge for the pickle juice; good way to get rid of it I suppose. lol

Philly cheese just has to have grilled peppers and onions. They’re best when they still have a subtle crunch to them.

You don't have to choose between a cheese steak and a hoagie. Just have a cheese steak sub.

Not a Philly cheesesteak, too many substitutions to be authentic and that bread looked offensive. If you put peppers or anything else on it, it's not a Philly cheesesteak.

You can find these sandwiches in just about any metro area in the Northeastern US with a large Italian-American population. Add to this list the Veal Parm, the Meatball and Peppers, plus the Sausage and Peppers.

The two guys on the end as well as having this channel (Jolly = Josh & Olly) have a channel called the Korean Englishman. Josh (on the left) is friends with a college headmaster and after a year of introducing Korean culture to the students, their time together culminated in the Korean Englishman team flying some of the graduating senior class to Korea for 2 weeks the day after their finals, its well worth watching them introduce Korean culture and food to different people in the U.K.

Daz. As you know, the key is shaved ribeye. I’ve found you can achieve very close with shaved roast beef from your local market. Peppers and onions and Provolone. Forget that Cheese Whiz.

Yeah, this catches brits out alot. Our biscuits LOOK like an english scone, very much, but the texture inside is nothing like one. It's not SUPPOSED to be anyway. I've had some that were... would not recommend. They're supposed to be served piping hot, while they're still very light and fluffy. Or layered and flaky if you were making that kind of biscuit.

I'm Italian American and when my nonna died she had a box of family recipes. We had trouble using them though because some of the instructions were "fill the blue bowl with tomato sauce" and we have no idea what the blue bowl is. 😂

Although Philly cheesesteak is an iconic American food, keep in mind that it's very much an East Coast thing. We don't eat Philly cheesesteak on the West Coast. American food is extremely regional, like foods in most countries. In my entire life I have never had a friend suggest that we go out for Philly cheese steak. Out west we prefer various Asian foods. Nothing beats Chinese food in San Francisco. The other food we love is Mexican food here in California. We also have amazing burgers and fries along the west coast.... And Pacific Northwest salmon add crab is unsurpassed.

Let's be careful here. To "whiz" (or "take a whiz") has nothing to do with cheese or steak and more to do with a need that comes after drinking that giant pitcher of beer. Given the variety of sandwiches, they should have completed the list with a meatball sub (hoagie).

I can't see that pickleback tasting good. Pickle or pickle juice with vodka on the other hand is pretty common in Eastern Europe and Russia. I went to college not too far from Philly, and this one guy from Russia was visiting a friend, and he just showed up to a party with a bottle of Smirnoff and a jar of pickles haha it was the most Russian thing ever. It works pretty well!

@@mattbarba3993It’s the brine that olives left in to cure. It’s different from pickle juice, which is typically what cucumbers are put into to cure - pickle juice is a lot more sour than olive juice.

Trudeau can't go anywhere without being yelled at or insulted. He walks around everywhere with security. Canadians are fed up with him and the other party leader who's enabling him just long enough to get his pension, so the british media is not being fully honest with it by not mentioning it all. Trump's statement was obviously a joke, but at this point it can't be worse than being under the liberal party.
