What does the "beta" on some sports modes mean? Will it effect the accuracy of tracking during that type of sport??

This Ordro 5 is like Osmo dependent of the app? I heard Osmo can't even turn on if you don't use app in phone, i need a camera to start and record, not to consume the battery of my phone too using the app in same time, i just want a camera to record. Also, Ordro 5 have built in battery? Ths is not too good, when the battery die, this means you throw camera to garbage and buy new camera, right?

I photograph cars and this is an awesome device to have. I asked a friend of mine to print me a photo out of Polaroid because I know she had one. My excitement only lasted a few minutes until I saw the photo. Then I came here and got much more clarity about other options to consider. Great video 👏🏽👏🏽

Thanks this was really informative. I had the MM OG and now the Atom 3--camera seems so similar on both even though the MM is way older. In your footage it was interesting that sometimes the saturation was way up on both. It swapped in different lighting. I'd say this video makes me feel better about my purchase. The other thing helpful to know I guess is that there is no geo-fencing on the Atom 3--take off anywhere. Just be responsible and know the laws of your region. On my MM every time I took off there were always multiple checkins with FAA etc. because there's like 1000 airports in my area. I would like to know if there is a way to get sharper images on the A3--my initial flights didn't seem to have the same focal sharpness as yours. Even in manual, I don't see much to work with. Any suggestions are appreciated.

There’s a quarter inch gap between my case and the bottom of the phone (iPhone 15 pro max). Thusly not useable. Anyone else with this issue?

You really should try the non-zink printers. Zink is ok for spur of the moment disposable pics. But they're pretty awful. The next step up is so so so much better. Stuff like the Canon qx20 printers. Those are dye sublimation printers which look beautiful and don't change colors over time. And they don't cost much more.

Only thing I liked about the original case was the sides. It reminded me of the vrs design shine guard case that I had back in 2016 and that case had the best design ever in my opinion and I wish they brought that back

Does any zink paper work with HP/canon? I'm deciding which one to get and leaning towards HP sprocket, but from where I'm from, it might be hard to find the exact HP zink paper

A lot better than the original in build quality. Unfortunately it still has the rainbow effect at a certain angle and slightly heavier than 1.0.

M5- $239 vs Pocket 3 $519....... for the price, M5 isnt bad. Yes the mic isnt great, but a mic could fix that and the tracking is, well...... not really there, but for less then half the price....... if I was looking new, but you can get the Pocket 2 used for under $300 and the Pocket 1 for under $200

Thank you for the time you took to make the video. Having said that, I can't understand your top selection. The INSTAX had the old micro connector; it was bigger and I assume heavier; it has the plastic wastage; it has the longest print time. The latter is not a problem in this test but if you were with someone and giving them a print - you might not want to be standing around waiting for the print to develop. You also used a vertical image for the INSTAX and horizontal images for the other two. That makes comparisons difficult. If the INSTAX was more washed out then it would be good to see how washed out the background was. I agree having easier to access film is an advantage but only if you aren't in a larger city or tourist area. My local Staples and of course Amazon, carry both. Lastly the fact INSTAX can be used in their own dedicated camera is only a minor advantage at best. While I don't know the optics of the INSTAX camera, I can't picture many people going on vacation thinking they would take another bulky camera with them when they already have their cell phone with excellent cameras. And if they are, as I do, then it's a proper digital camera and not a novelty mini-image camera. Several things that you either barely touched on or ignored are important in such a review: *The INSTAX printer is more expensive. *INSTAX paper is at least 25% more expensive over the other two units. Very important in the long run. *The other printers have a sticker format that it doesn't appear the INSTAX has. This is why my daughter wants a printer - to make stickers. *The other printers have some variety of paper such as circular sticker images - something I can't find for INSTAX. *You don't note that in addition to Canon and HP zink papers being interchangeable - there are a number of other brands whose papers can be used. UNLIKE the INSTAX which appears to be proprietary. In the end I think I will go with the Canon due to the port but will buy my daughter HP paper to go with it.

I’m curious how it would work with a dance team. Our color guard team competes in a winter guard indoor season. Same as fall just no marching band and typically perform in gymnasium. Wonder for tracking if the different dance moves would trigger tracking to shut off. Big gamble for such an expensive device. We recently purchased a gimbal from another brand just haven’t got to test it yet.

although the new one looks more considered and refined, the original looks way more unique. aside from the magsafe design that i still really like, the new one just looks kind of generic to me. even though i also think the raised magsafe magnet was a little odd, it was at least an aspect that set it apart, same with the bumper design.

The osmo has a better camera sensor.

Is it not a fair comparison because the Osmo Pocket 3 so clearly performs better? Especially with the water shots and images like that.

I agree. Aesthetically I like the original ghost case better and it feels better in hand. Had a slimmer profile which I prefer. Only problem I had with the first was the scratches. That being said I’ve had my 2.0 for about a month now and it hasn’t come off my phone.
