How to tell when the Sonic lovers are salty and butt hurt that their blue hedgehog is being crushed by Mufasa at the box office 🤣 Would be hilarious if this came back to bite the armchair experts in the ass and Disney sued you all for slander haha

I don't think audiences "hated" it. A bit underwhelming, but it was okay. Not good, not bad, and as always, with room for improvement. Kudos on Disney for taking audience feedback and allowing their "photo-realistic" animals to finally _emote!_
@RoastTheCritics5 күн бұрын
Taking audience feedback would have been to hand-draw the movie. And Disney is expected to do better than just "okay." They have enough money that nothing - and I mean NOTHING - should be an inch below the level of excellence. They're squandering their wealth and position, and it ends now. Kids today deserve much better than they're getting from Bob Iger.

Idk why people hate this movie. I’m not into musicals and I thought it was brilliant. The visuals, the acting(especially on Ariana’s part, she nailed Glinda) and the singing were on point. The story was memorable, and it was such an interesting take on the original Wizard of Oz storyline.
@RoastTheCritics6 күн бұрын
Absolutely! I understand why people claim to hate it because of the gag-inducing press tour, but the movie itself is extremely on point and far outshot my expectations by a trillion miles.

I hate how they pretend like every 5 years that when they come out with a new character model and most of them have been great I'm not saying anything about that but what I'm saying is they pretend that none of the others existed before them it's giving cultural appropriation but in the sense of a genre I don't know how else to describe it because I grew up in an hour where we had a black Cinderella nobody talk about Brandy especially the Godmother being played by Whitney Houston and the song Impossible holy s*** and what I like the most about Brandy Cinderella is that even though it is the generic story they're building on it and making it its own thing so Maleficent who Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland what again they want to pretend like type of stuff never happened especially during a time that they said was the most racist or whatever ism they want to push in front of what they thought was problematic again not to say that there weren't things that we're problematic but trying to erase it just so that they can profit on something they've already done is really stupid

Count me among them. This movie didn't make me laugh once. There's not a single situation that wasn't done better by Bert and Ernie, and the worst part is that it came out just a few months AFTER a similar and far superior movie, "Midnight Run", starring Robert Deniro and Charles Grodin. The only reason anyone even remembers Planes is because it mentions Thanksgiving so it gets played on TV every Thanksgiving. If you saw it for the first time today, you'd never believe it was considered a classic.
@RoastTheCriticsАй бұрын
"Bert and Ernie!" 😂 ....Truth be told, I did not get it the first time I saw it. I was probably bored out of my mind. But then I became a husband and father, and I have connected to it every year since. Of course, I'm biased toward Steve Martin and I have a very deep love for John Candy - so that helps.
