The funny thing is that most of these people that tries to ban smoking also try to legalize pot…

Did they have coin operated bathrooms in 1955? Did they just become that greedy over time or where they that cheap from the beginning?

Hi TPMvids, Thank you for sharing so many great videos on Disney! I’ve been following your videos for a long time and I’m wondering if it’s ok to sub your videos on the Epcot horizon and share them (with full credit) on the Chinese social media platform called bilibili. The Chinese netizen just got to know about the historical attractions from Disney and are very interested in learning more about them. They’d love to see your videos. (The translating and reposting will be entirely for the purpose of sharing and learning and not for commercial use) Thank you for your time in advance!

As a kid back then, I still remember how bad adults smelled. I guess they liked smelling like a garbage can.

Makes me miss growing up in the 80s. Cigarette vending machines. People chilled and smoking. Now everyone is uptight and angry Explains why parents these days who go are always angry. Bring back smoking

The only reason the restaurant has become controversial is because you’ve accepted the hate-filled brainwashing of the communist party. No one thought to dislike that restaurant, then. It was a happy and fun place.

Make Disney Great Again. Funny how everyone claims to never smoke these days, but when I'm at the pub having a drink suddenly everyone wants to "borrow" one. People these days would take up smoking right away if the fascism forced upon the humble leaf, and the green one too, were to be torn up.

1955, where a good proportion of men over 28 in that footage experienced war. We are as far away from 1955 as they were from 1886.

Why are there so many stupid people in this comment section who can't understand history and the reality behind the mammy stereotype and how it is negative? Annoying, but expected I guess. Just a bunch of crying boomers who miss racism pretending that actual sane people are cry babies for simply understanding reality. 😂 No hope for them.

No surprise, I'm in my mid 40s and in the 80s, people smoked everywhere, buses, inside shops, McDonald's. You could smoke everywhere. So going back to the 50s of course you could buy tobacco everywhere

Jfc, dude. Looking at the 1950's through the lens of the 2020's is a wonderful way to confuse yourself while deriving no meaningful information. It really wasn't a big deal for there to be a smoking shop in Disneyland back then, but you're sensationalizing its existence to the point where it becomes the entire reason that people click to watch the video. Designated smoking sections didn't become commonplace until 40 fucking years after 1955 yet you casually mention them as if they should have existed. Here's a bit of context: Cigarette companies used to advertise their products as being healthy for you, so now picture a smoking shop in Disneyland in that context. Or we can just laugh at the past without learning anything...
