I had to take a break from my metalsmith journey and just see this new adventure you have started. I will be able to join you at your new "home" in early 2025 and look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work. I am excited to become a part of your new community.

Totally understand and appreciate this video explaining everything. I knew a while back that KZbin was turning into a cesspool of corruption and this only confirms it - they certainly are benefiting off of the hard work of others. For your income to decline in such a way, with an increase in viewers and videos, is ridiculous. I'll see you over on Patreon!!

KZbin gets too greedy and this will be why they will be like Wal-Mart. They're getting good at doing the wrong thing.

So, I paid so expensive for this workbench and I have the same problems, the main about foot rest.. and I came from Brasil, so, no so tall. Other problems about this loved workbench is the bench pin ... I just wanna to use the soldering station and the bench pin in the same table, but this is impossible , right? How to solved this matter? I just wondering why durston still have this ergonomics problems since is a really old brand.. I just don't expect that..thank you for shared your experience..

There are still a lot of metalsmiths on this platform who offer their videos for free. I don't know of any whose entire channel is only pay for view. I think it's a mistake to expect that you can support yourself and your family via KZbin. I pay approximately $16 a month for an ad-free experience and do not want to be charged again by content creators who promised to post only free tutorials, with the option of becoming a patreon for more in-depth instruction. I, too, have to buy groceries for myself and my family. Personally, I had (mostly) stopped watching your channel because your content had begun to consist primarily of product reviews for jewelry tools that most metalsmiths cannot afford. Good luck. I hope this works out for you.

Hi Estona! I have tried to order a bench from Durston after watching your video, but the code does not work. Is it not valid anymore?

You mentioned a jewelry supply place to buy tools and supplies from and it started with “G”. Could you tell me the name of the place.
