So the whole weight of the bike is only resting on one side… Bike wasn’t design for that… I like better the abba stand.

I noticed there's no threads holding that stand on I would never trust it. I suppose it's just for moving the bike around the garage doesn't seem very useful for working on the bike because it doesn't go very high. I just ordered the Abba sky lift I'm gonna go with that

I want to know about constand for MT-10 I see for sale I see photo of adaptor plate but I cant find video simply showing how it lifts THE MT-10 SPECIFICALLY how do they expect to sell without that??? Compared to this Ducati the MT-10 has huge wells in the frame LOOKS like it could work very well ! So why in the world dont they SHOW it anywhere???

Any chance you can confirm the bolt size under the tail on both sides? (The difficult ones.) I'm working with allen wrenches. Almost looked like a 5mm would get in there. Too small. 6 seems to be too big. My 5.5 won't get back there.

Great video. How has it held up? Do you feel comfortable wrenching on the bike with it up in the air? I just got a '05 GSXR 1000 and the garage is getting full, I'm heavily considering ordering one of these but I'm not sure what I think yet. It's perfect to move the bike into the corner for storage, but I don't know about putting all that leverage in that one little spot, or doing a tire change etc. with it hanging like that. Also a bit concerned that it could warp something. Anyone successfully use one of these for a while?

I know I'll get all the have in the motorcycle world for this comment so... here it comes: is there an aftermarket CAT for this type of exhaust? this particular motorcycle is somehow a tourer and its meant to do long trips and long mileage life, I think it would be responsible to have a catalytic convertor (its aimed to a more responsible market after all), if not, then stock is the way for us. It seems just wrong to have a Tesla, solar house roof and a Ducati without a CAT but we love the sound too.
@danieloconnell42252 жыл бұрын
This is not a sport-touring motorcycle - no, it is not meant to do long trips. Can it? Sure. Don't be fooled by the fact that Ducati sells some tiny panniers for it - this is not a sports-touring ride, even if it doesn't have Panigale-levels of power.

Another reason not do it many countries is that it is illegal and at the very least you will need to refit the standard exhaust every year for the bikes annual inspection once it is 3 years or more old. However having accepted that, if you refit the original dies the map key have a standard map to upload and or will it support the standard exhaust as well as the liberated one?
@CrazyRoosterSauce3 жыл бұрын
Thankfully the Akro is an official Ducati upgrade, fully warranted from the factory. The bad news is that CA just cracked down - and now it's very difficult to get a dealer to install a race exhaust unless you no-op your vehicle. So sad.

I've got a Constand Paddock Lift that I had used on my previous bike, but when I went to buy an adapter for my R NineT, they advised that they refuse to ship to the US and won't give a reason why. I had purchased this stand thinking it was a long term solution for future bike purchases, but now realize its just an expensive piece of metal sitting in the corner of the garage. I've tried looking on eBay and other places on the internet, but have not had any luck So if anyone has an extra adapter for the R NineT laying around they wish to sell, I'm a buyer. Otherwise, if you're looking for a stand like this, I would avoid this manufacturer altogether. They may not support you in the future.
@javierb29384 жыл бұрын
Have you checked this?, they send to USA www.motea.com/en/catalogsearch/result/index/?cat=9&q=constands+adapter I was thinking to get one in the future but your comment made me check it, and yes, they do sell the adapters apart.

Hello, i also got one since yesterday. I am little unsecure about the gap between the bolt and the frame nut, when u uplift it. I was considering drilling a whole into it and when ever i mount my bike to stick a pin inside this hole wich will then keep by force the bolt inside the Framenut. What are your ideas about this.,
@jampasss8 ай бұрын
Whenever you are making adjustments like a whole you weakening the strength of it, it’s always calculated that it can carry more but depending on how big of a whole your making it can break be dangerous , just keep that in the back of your mind

@giec34845 жыл бұрын
Nice video review! Big downside with the Akra full exhaust is that you have to remove the heat shields on the pipe coming out of the vertical cylinder. Those were part of a big recall campaign from Ducati because year-1 models didn't have them and the generated heat would eventually damage the components of the rear shock placed right above it. Maybe the whole set generates less heat, especially once stripped of that horribly bulky catalizer, but I'd suggest to check your rear shock anyway for signs of damage to the rubber components. Maybe Akrapovic didn't bother to make it compatible with said heat shields, since in most countries this would be a track-only exhaust, one you just use once in a while...

whats up man! did the carbon heat shield worked? thanks man

UPDATE: After 5 months of running the Akrapovič Full Exhaust I am still thrilled with the package. Going back and running a stock Supersport just feels wrong. The enhancement in torque curve (around 5k) makes a huge impact on both daily riding and track days. For long rides 6+ hours I will put in the dB killers to avoid the drone of the bike at constant speed. Other than that - I let this baby bark! I'm get regular complements on the sound of the system. If you own a SS or are thinking about a purchase - this is a must!
@grossibp4 жыл бұрын
hi, do you know the dB table Akrapovic gives for it? I wonder about it's noise - becuase here in Europe it can be critical to make my decision. You know, fun to have but be banned from riding actually on the tracks... I worry about it but I can't find any details on the data sheet. Happy and healthy New Year.
