Great video. How has it held up? Do you feel comfortable wrenching on the bike with it up in the air? I just got a '05 GSXR 1000 and the garage is getting full, I'm heavily considering ordering one of these but I'm not sure what I think yet. It's perfect to move the bike into the corner for storage, but I don't know about putting all that leverage in that one little spot, or doing a tire change etc. with it hanging like that. Also a bit concerned that it could warp something. Anyone successfully use one of these for a while?

Thank you. You helped me figure out the last part. The single piece that attaches to my bike

I want to know about constand for MT-10 I see for sale I see photo of adaptor plate but I cant find video simply showing how it lifts THE MT-10 SPECIFICALLY how do they expect to sell without that??? Compared to this Ducati the MT-10 has huge wells in the frame LOOKS like it could work very well ! So why in the world dont they SHOW it anywhere???
@jampasss8 ай бұрын
At the site I bought it they ask you specifically what bike you have so they will send the right plate

Well done review. Does your left leg hit the replacement receiver nut while you are riding the bike?
@CrazyRoosterSauce6 жыл бұрын
Maximillian Akemann Nope. Not at all. I may give it a coat of paint to “blend” in a bit more but that’s my only complaint.

Hello, i also got one since yesterday. I am little unsecure about the gap between the bolt and the frame nut, when u uplift it. I was considering drilling a whole into it and when ever i mount my bike to stick a pin inside this hole wich will then keep by force the bolt inside the Framenut. What are your ideas about this.,
@jampasss8 ай бұрын
Whenever you are making adjustments like a whole you weakening the strength of it, it’s always calculated that it can carry more but depending on how big of a whole your making it can break be dangerous , just keep that in the back of your mind

Did you have to import it? I'm not seeing anywhere in the US, and import costs make it about as much as an Abba skylift. Difference being, they're in the country. (US).

Can you explain how you fixed the hostiing plug on the bike? thanks
@jampasss8 ай бұрын
There is a bolt deep inside the frame if you want to attach the long socket remove the bolt from the frame screw the bolt inside through the long socket and bolt the whole piece inside the frame again

Thank God for your video. Assembly instructions for this are crap! Have had better luck with Chinese products - and I speak fluent German!!!! And by the way, the name in German for the part you mention @10:43 is a "Rahmenhülse" or in English a "Frame Sleeve"

Black WolfR6 note at 12:51 you can see the stand is clear of the frame without issue.

Thanks for your answer but what about the force who’s been apply to the frame during the storage. No frame fold?? I’m scared of this...long storage time with this could fold the frame? Thanks

Advantage Ducati: the engine is the frame. :)

I noticed there's no threads holding that stand on I would never trust it. I suppose it's just for moving the bike around the garage doesn't seem very useful for working on the bike because it doesn't go very high. I just ordered the Abba sky lift I'm gonna go with that

I've got a Constand Paddock Lift that I had used on my previous bike, but when I went to buy an adapter for my R NineT, they advised that they refuse to ship to the US and won't give a reason why. I had purchased this stand thinking it was a long term solution for future bike purchases, but now realize its just an expensive piece of metal sitting in the corner of the garage. I've tried looking on eBay and other places on the internet, but have not had any luck So if anyone has an extra adapter for the R NineT laying around they wish to sell, I'm a buyer. Otherwise, if you're looking for a stand like this, I would avoid this manufacturer altogether. They may not support you in the future.
@javierb29384 жыл бұрын
Have you checked this?, they send to USA www.motea.com/en/catalogsearch/result/index/?cat=9&q=constands+adapter I was thinking to get one in the future but your comment made me check it, and yes, they do sell the adapters apart.

ignus1985 So far it’s been great! I have to admit that at first I wasn’t sure - but after a month all worries are gone. Plus the advantage for cleaning, storage and maintenance are significant.

Jiggets Lives I can see the potential, and I really do want something like this, it's just that every time I watch it bend and how it precariously balances, it makes my engineering hairs tingle with paranoia
@CrazyRoosterSauce6 жыл бұрын
As an engineer too I have to remind myself that 'flex' does not equate to 'strong'. Think skyscrapers, bridges and even your motorcycle frame. If indeed it does fail - I hope I get it on camera - then this review will certainly change. ;)

It's a piece of junk and if it doesn't work or fit your bike the company will not stand behind the return policy, even if followed by there rules. I returned mine and never heard back from them.

I purchase one a year ago, never fit correct with the plate and forget about ever leveling the bike out. I returned it at my cost per there instructions and never herd back from them for a refund or any contact since. Stand is a piece of junk and is the company standing behind the product.

So the whole weight of the bike is only resting on one side… Bike wasn’t design for that… I like better the abba stand.
