Special teams plays better and this game isn’t even close. Also dude that stadium sucks compared to the likes of Sofi. Idk what you see in it!

Unlv fan here. Great game to Syracuse, theses are the games UNLV needs to build its program. It was awesome having all the Syracuse fans in town! Most of them were very awesome to mingle with. Congrats and hopefully, down the road, we can play again.

I was amazed at how many CUSE fans were at the game. Upon arrival, the orange throng of folks going into the stadium made it feel like a home game. One UNLV fan in line gave a cowering gesture when someone mentioned she was so out numbered. I heard one estimate that there were 8K that showed up for CUSE. Allegiant is a huge, covered stadium, with comfortable padded seats...but the lower half was filled. I'd guestimate that 25% were CUSE fans. Got to sit at the 50 yard line Field Club Level...free booze, food including prime rib and shrimp surrounded by Raiders memorabilia. Trying to get an Uber ride back to the hotel was insane waiting in 95 degree heat. The UNLV fans were pretty classy...one told me they are use to huge numbers of opposing fans since football fans like to travel to Las Vegas. Nevertheless, this was the 3rd largest crowd in UNLV History. This game had to have great television ratings...assuming you east coasters could stay awake. And yes...they had a defibrillator available that I had to use...it killed my buzz from the alcohol.

Defense doesn't rally to the ball. Very little one-on-one tackling. The offense better keeps scoring 35 or 45 points a game because the defense can't hold anybody out of the end zone

Great game caught it on Utube. Just a couple observations, McCord definitely not afraid to throw into tight windows, only one int but it could have easily been 3-4. Axe is 100% correct on special team comment, SU got away with-it last night, but those type of miscues normally even out. Need a complete overhaul on the punting unit, not an easy fix at this point in the season.

Intangibles and the antiBaberotics were everywhere. Syracuse won every stat except punting, they were not flat coming out at start and half even OT, 2 minute drills again, came from behind 3 times. In game adjustments, game management, players put in positions to make plays and doing so. This game would have gone South with Babers and they held together. Thanks to Ohio St, who knew we would ever say that. It would be nice to thank the other Asshats in College football as the future unfolds. A stupid thought on my part along the lines of Fir the Live of the Game... God how about SU thanking Notre Dame, Penn St, Tenn, Bama just to name a few over the next decade. Enjoy then back to work... More is better.

Hey Brent..we chatted briefly about Rudy's when you gave us a shout out..little coincidence that Jason the owner of Rudy's was just in Vegas last week..his wife bought him tickets to the Eagles at the Sphere for thier anniversary..then his buddy who also went with his wife as a couples thing surprised him with tickets to the Raiders/ Browns game..they had great seats about 10th row end zone..I was pretty jealous since raiders are my team and I'm dying to go to the sphere since I'm a concert guy..lol. go Cuse!

Cuse will win this game because they have slightly better talent. McCord is the best player on the field as well. He will have a big game versus the weaker West Coasters.

Ferrari's Italian is also very good. They owners are from Syracuse. They have been in Vegas for over 30 years.

Roma Deli for Italian food. Not too expensive. Best cook in the city. Also, Luv It Custard for dessert. It is in a bad area, but worth the trip. Best for the last 50 plus years. Finally, Lotus of Saim, if you want to step up your game, for best Thai food/Asian food, at the Red Rock Casino. Enjoy your trip.

52 yards in penalties and the 2 INTs made the game seem sloppy. They lost no fumbles and only punted twice. I watched the game too.

OG is fine last season we had guys injured OG is getting doubled every play. We have a real QB who’s gonna throw to best option. Peña,Hatcher,Meeks,gill,Ross Simmons,Haynes anyone of them can get 100 yards in a game!!! Not to mention really good freshman receivers. We have options this is what big time football looks like spread the ball. OG is a tight end not a receiver he plays a different role now blocking take’s energy. I would be really happy with 6-6 at this point. We whiffed on transfers (apparently including Diggs) other than McCord so it's going to take multiple years to fix both the oline and transition out of the 3-3-5. We don't have the defensive ends or the play in space linebackers to fit the scheme. UNLV should be favored by close to double digits.

Not only OG has been missing from the offense but what about Dan Villari. Its crazy how he was the whole offense last year and this year hes non existent. Also, whats up with our FG kicking ? 1st 3 possessions went for TDs, defense faltered on next 2 HC possessions Defense holds the rest of the way. During the 2 HC TD drives sacks killed the drives but offense got 3 1st downs. In 2nd half they have 2 drives of more than 10 plays, 3 missed field goals, Quick strike TD and Pick 6. Important things HC doesn't score in 2nd half, Team was not flat at Start or 2nd Half start, penalties were not critical, turnovers were not points killing, Defense got a pick six, punting was fine, another 2 minute drill scoring Drive. In game adjustments were good too. None of these things were present under Babers. Had they got the 3 FGs and 2 Defense lapses don't happen the score is 51 zip. These are discipline issues, under Babers no chance to correct. Now can Coach Brown fix... That is part of the mission. I feel as if Coach Brown is turning the ship.

Teams adapt to who their playing that’s in any sport you know that Brent take away the broken play and the half back toss then what it’s the same thing it’s like they didn’t even score

OG's route running and presence is like he got punched hard and lost a sense of desire vs Pena or Meeks or Allen. Soft? If he were on defense he would be arm tackle guy.
