Happy to see you get a little spoiled for the holidays 🥰 I've always journaled off and on but I want to make an effort to be more consistent this year. It really helps me process things. I got some really thoughtful gifts this year. My bf got me stuff to get cozy: a heated blanket, a blanket hoodie (i live in it now), and some cozy knee socks. He also got me some books. My family got me a tub tray, tub pillow, candles, and books because I love a good bath. 🥰

I genuinely do not care at all if my partner gets me a gift. That being said I totally agree with the fact that if your partner expresses something is important to them you go out of your way to make it happen. Draw or paint them something, write a sincere note in a card, grab them their favorite candy, make them their favorite breakfast. Something to show you care goes a long way.

My grandmother always told us to hold a dime in your palm when the new year hits, it's supposed to bring financial luck. I grew up in Philly and it's tradition to eat pork and sauerkraut on new years day, we skipped the sauerkraut and opted for rice and beans instead 😅

Smells delicious and you can throw a little magic in by choosing ingredients that help manifest what you're looking for. I did Cinnamon - healing and heightening energy, oranges - good fortune, cloves - protection & prosperity, all-spice - growth, lemon - cleansing. I try to be mindful of what each item brings and set some intentions when putting it together. so my bf we started dating 3 months ago and are financial situation isn’t the best. he sent me a reel saying he’s not getting me anything for christmas bc he’s broke with laughing emojis… i told him that it means a lot to me and it’s what couples should do. so i basically said there was no excuse not to give someone a gift bc cheap gifts are everywhere, making something for someone. he later surprised me with a PAINTED box he did himself my favorite color 💛 some toys, candy, a hat from disneyland. i was so happy !! he literally did more than what i expected it was so sweet. i’m really lucky. i hope u surpass what he did for me on valentine’s day :-)
