I am 20 and wanted to get a perspective on how fast you age and how fast time goes by yet it feels slow at the same time. Life is weird. Its short if you are squandering around but is long enough for you to start making wise conscious decisions, set goals and successfully achieve them. Its sort of perfect how it feels.

Within every old man is a young boy. Life starts to become a collection of memories. It's like a chapter book. Every decade is a new chapter of life. Childhood. Teenage. Wild 20's. Settled down 30's. Becoming your parents 40's. Midlife crisis 50s. Becoming an elder 60's. Etc. Every decade, you look a little different. You cannot go backwards, no matter how much you want. Experience as MUCH as you can because once your older, it becomes difficult to do certain things. Make memories now. That way, you'll be at peace knowing you've "Been there, done that" & missed out on nothing.

Back in 1978 and '79, I did several morning shows live with Bill on WNEX. I was the planetarium director at the Mark Smith Planetarium back then and Bill would often invite me to join him as we premiered a new star show. He narrated many of our shows such as The Star of Bethlehem program we presented each year. Somewhere in my attic, I still have the master tapes of those programs, but I don't have an old reel to reel to give a listen. Thanks again Bill for all your help in the early days of both of our careers. If anyone remembers those shows, drop a comment here.

I was a Vlogger back in 2007/2008 (different account obviously) and somehow Bill kind of became a regular in both my comments sections and a load of my other friends in the UK scene. None of us had a massive audience either. I'm 30 now. I just suddenly remembered Bill and found my way to this channel. I honestly could have cried when I heard the theme music at the beginning. I hope Bill is doing well. Would love to connect again some day. EDIT: According to a Macon local on Reddit, they contacted the radio station and asked if Bill was okay. It seems he is very much still alive, enjoying retirement and “doing old man stuff!” which is just about the best news any of us could of asked for! Thanks for all the entertainment Bill, hope you’re enjoying yourself!

Seeing the comments is quite sad. Time flies, we‘ll all be dead one day, but there‘s no way to change that, nor would life be meaningful if we could all be young forever or live forever. Things are only special, because they are limited to a short period of time. Good thing is, you can control every action, every day. Dream big and become the very best you can be. I‘ll be back to this comment in 5 years, till then I‘ll be busy becoming the best I can be and creating a legacy that will stay behind me forever.

I am 22 and I feel like I 'missed out' on being a teenager. I never really hung out with friends often at that age. I am 22 now and going back to college. I will probably be in college until I am 27 and who knows what I will do in uni after that... I feel behind my peers. I feel like my 'inner teenager' is only coming out recently. I just fear that I don't have the time to catch up and to live life. Will I be ready for kids in time? when will I finally move out? that sort of thing.... I am really scared of this...

Aging/Getting old is different for everyone. I know some in their 80`s who are very active physically, mentally sharp and have the mentality that age is just a number...then I know some in their 30`s who are saying getting old sucks and are complaining about seeing grey hairs, being tired & forgetful. I once heard the actress Jane Fonda say that she doesn`t realize that she`s old until she looks in the mirror .
