Are you still satisfied with your camera system? I'm trying to get a Reolink system. To help my budget I've gotten a tiny variety of cameras. The 811 cameras seem to be really good from the reviews and tests that I've watched.
@drogersusa24 күн бұрын
I only have one complaint about this camera system - the cameras tend to fog up during heavy rain - but I believe most cameras would. They have served me far better than I anticipated and the law enforcement in our area have really liked them for identification purposes. Would highly recommend.

Did the background come as layered?
@drogersusaАй бұрын
starting at 48 seconds I show how to put all the parts together to create the scene. No, they were not together, I pulled them off a website called Freepik and just put them together. Couldn't figure out how to provide them - still new to KZbin. Any halloween scene will do
@nannypaulinescfairytalesАй бұрын
@@drogersusa When you download them what format are they in so you can separate each image, I just looked on Freepik and their images havee 100s of layers to a image. Yours looked like 10 or so.
@drogersusaАй бұрын
@@nannypaulinescfairytales I download the image as an AI (Illustrator) file, then only ungroup a couple of times so you have larger layered areas - the ocean and halloween scenes did not have too many layers. Your videos are great, I am new to CTA5 I just bought the software as they has a deal on think it was $109. As a Mac user I had to buy a new all singing and dancing PC like yourself it was expensive just to run CTA 5. My biggest problem the tutorials on KZbin are on CTA 4, there and there are slight differences. And they are not over you shoulder like your videos. Sometimes I get problems with motions where the slide and it a mind bender trying to figure out. If someone did step by step from starting with CTA 5 creating your first animation and then working your way up by adding other characters to the scene, how to move the camera to different parts of the scenes. What I have been doing is following a few tutorial step by step without missing a single step. I even buy the characters they use just to make it look the same. But if you try and add another motion to what they did it goes wrong. Its frustrating

Thank you - I must admit I am in the same boat as you are. I thought if I did videos as I learned things, it would help others learn what I was learning ... but, they seem to have a system that one can not completely learn and without the missing key pieces - well - for those of us unwilling to "pay the big bucks" for training that is not easily understandable. Note: I did pay for one which I have created the videos I have done ... but it has now left me stumped rather than helping me move forward. Good luck on your journey, hope my videos will at least get you started. At this time I am not willing to invest any more money into their system.

Okay, forget linear thinking when it comes to optic alignment. Ie. if one area is off by 1mm then all should be, and in same direction. When setting up the camera one of the first tests is all the round dots? this is used to check for optical distortion. an obvious example is comparing a fish-eye to a standard lens: if using a fish-eye lens - where as you get away from the center of the image things seem distorted? Compressed? compared to a standard lens the distortion is obvious and pronounced. well ALL lens do this kind of thing. That test is used to build a table in the software to adjust for this. errors in the table is why areas of the image can be off by different amounts and directions compared to other areas. The round dot test is THE most important adjustment. Do that one very carefully and do it properly. Just a little error or saying, well .7 is better than .68 can make a difference in the results larger than you would expect. Take your time with this part of the alignment to get it as good as you can. Then understand that if the position of the camera vs the laser cutter changes in even a small amount, the results can be quite a bit. One way to visualize it is to think in ANGLES - and Not Linear distance. the test is designed to determine linear distance by measuring angles and a tiny change in angle can result in a large linear distance. the concept (But not what is actually happening) is similar when u shine a light-source on a mirror from off to the side at a shallow angle, and then change the angle u shine it just a tiny bit, the reflection of the beam on the wall can move inches if not feet. and it gets worse as the light spot shines on objects farther away. Its a hard idea to try to explain so I hope this is not too confusing.
@armastat3 ай бұрын
Oh and by watching the screen of your actual camera images shown thru the software? I am pretty sure that your camera is too close to the work area. the issue I described has less and less of an effect as the distance between camera and surface is increased. Did u set it up with the suggested distances from the software in mind?

@drogersusa4 ай бұрын
I believe any machine that causes your feet to move up and down is going to cause some discomfort - this is more of a circular motion so not as bad. I am totally supprised that they did not have you wear a good solid ankle brace to eleviate some of that discomfort. Note: this is an elliptical, not a bike. I hope that helps. I would discuss this with your arthritis professional before making any purchases of any machine.

I know this is an older video but as a professional carpet cleaner I wanted to add a thought. True dry foam carpet cleaning does involve extraction. There is a machine that scrubs the foam into the carpet using a cylinder brush and immediately extracts it. What your company did is called low moisture cleaning or encapsulation cleaning. The idea of extracting powder after it's dry is true, but only to a degree. If they used a rotary brush they should have followed up with a cotton or micro fiber bonnet to pick up a lot of the soil and moisture. The true dry foam method is much better. But low moisture or dry foam cleaning is best used when carpet is moderately dirty or when you need faster dry time. If they had had followed with a bonnet your carpet would have dried faster. It's guys like these that give our industry a bad name.

Hi there, hey quick question... I was under the impression that i could get a series of facial elements from jpgs after cutting them out in photoshop, and rig them into a template in cartoon animator. Is it completely necessary to ONLY do it the way you've done with Illustrator? (which i don't have) Or is there an easier way to rig up a series of customized elements into a Cartoon Animator template?

What I have shown is using the tools that I have (Illustrator) - there are free programs you can use online, I know you can use Photoshop - you can actually set them up in Cartoon Animator. If you go to Reallusion .com - they have Tutorials for character rigging in Photoshop - might want to start there.
