Lessons Learned on my New Silhouette Cameo 5

Thank you for this video. I just purchased the Cameo 5 from Amazon. If I would have known about the warranty, I would not of bought it through Amazon. I live in Canada and the Silhouette store said it ships to Canada so I tried to order some supplies and the order did not go through. So here's hoping my machine has a long life.

As with any deliquate piece of equipment, take care of it - clean it regularly, follow instructions, replace blades when needed and it will take care of you. Glad you got what you needed from the video.

Diana, This base should not be used in the machine. This base is a falsification of the CRICUT base. It is very thick and will break your rollers. Also, your right roller is in the wrong place.

Please share with me where the right roller should be. The base that you are looking at is off of a Silhouette Autoblade 3 pac - which I purchased from Amazon - the packaging is Silhouette and it says it is a Silhouette blade. I am confused. Thank you for your comments. Diana

@@drogersusa I think they're referring to your HTVRONT brand board, and that the wheel of the right roller should be on the margin of the board, outside of the grid. Also, thanks for making this video; I'm new to the Cameo 5 and want to know what potential errors I can anticipate, and now I'm five lessons wiser. Much appreciated!

@@BogWitchJess Thank you so much BogWitchJess - I literally had no idea what she was talking about with the wheel and I did not know about the HTVRONT brand board being to thick for the machine - I have used it for 8 months without issue. We learn something new every day don''t we!
