I have been following Paqueta since he was 15 and played for Flamengo. Became a huge fan, so I must say, great analysis! What stands out the most to me about him is that he can play in literally any position. He is a smart player that can wiggle out of tight places, find phenomenal through balls, and just run his socks off despite having incredible flair. He does make silly mistakes, and dives often though. But he hasn't reached his best form yet, simply because he hasn't had a progressive manager that coaches him better. Like Payet, he can win games single handedly, however, i don't see the same hunger for goals as Payet did. Hopefully this will change, because he definitely has the quality to pull better numbers.

While extremely under performing despite them spending the tax payers and borrowed money. Yes, truth be told they are spending less then last year. And they're reducing the wage bill. Yet with the debts they're in, the signings of Belotti and Dybala for an increased wage bill for this year of 12.7 million.
