It's been too windy to try powered flights but I'm gonna start with two loops of 1/8 and see what that does. It has a 7 1/2 inch hook to peg length so maybe 20 inch loops.

How did I miss this? Vultures are among my favorite birds! Front intake, rear exhaust, metabolic heat engine fueled by rotting meat. Variable geometry wing for thermalling or ridge soaring. They put their wings in that deep "V" and their attention on the ground. Just beautiful.
@me262a17 ай бұрын
I know right! Their wingspan is huge. I guess they get a bad rap because of the connotation with death but they are so graceful when they soar. I could watch them all day.

Keep in mind- these have a LOT of drag particularly with the prop installed even if freewheeling. Look for a steep, consistent glide but it won't float. It still appears to me to be a bit tail heavy.

Thanks. I did add a little weight last night but the wind came up today and I couldn't test it. I have an area with a lot taller grass I'm gonna continue testing in. I just got really excited she performed as well as she did!! I'm going to try for low and slow ROG flights when I get her right.

Nice build, the finished model looks beautiful! You used some good materials and chose a great design with the tissue! This plane is a great candidate for an RC conversion, which is what I would do with such a kit. I would recommend converting it to run with a small 3 or 4 channel receiver (preferably a 4 channel receiver) and to run with a small brushless motor, as this plane has the potential to fly very well, and you could have great enjoyment flying such an aircraft. Happy Flying! Please have an excellent and awesome day! ☀️✨✈️

Hi so I’m building this kit now.. seems like I’ve punched and cut out every you did. Not sure I’m going to make 24g. I’m at 20 now. With no prop no rubber and no covering. What am I missing?
@me262a110 ай бұрын
The wood Guillows uses can be very heavy to almost acceptable. My kit had decent wood but you must have gotten some heavy stuff. It's too bad but I guess that's how they keep the price down. Yours will still fly ok though. I've built some real heavy ones that did ok.

@@me262a1 well I’ve been doing surgery on it all night. Think I’ll make just under 26 with out rubber. Left off the gear. No guns. No antenna. No paint. Just a light dope. And some real rubber for the motor. Not the in box junk.

Despite the fact that the lyrics are a bit sketchy, the tune is an ass kicker. It is also one of the 3 songs I found that first night I found Band Maid. First Thrill. Then Real Existence, then Don't Let Me Down. I didn't get much sleep that night. Best night of my life!!!

I definitely agree. It's probably THE hardest rockin' song without a dedicated Mincho solo. Truth be told I didn't even realize the lyrics were in English until I saw it on a fan site and I had listened to this song a lot before I knew. I owe a great deal to these ladies for making life so much better.

Miku: Sit up straight, please. MISA: OK (she straightens up) MISA: GRRR (angry at Miku for scolding her then slouching herself) Miku: What? (not realizing what the problem is) Moral of the story: Do as I say, not as I do. LOL Title card at the end translates to The End. It was used in the MV 'afterlife" on the little TV set in the locker room.

What a beautiful smile. As if she didn’t say enough heart with her playing.
@gmcjetpilot Жыл бұрын
MISA intimidates weak males. She sincerely smiles when she chooses not to appease you. Yes she is a woman of few words, yet ironically men who say MISA is not friendly because she is quiet, typically complain woman talk too much. She is a focused professional musician. Respect that. When she does speak or smile WE LOVE IT. Keep in mind English is NOT their language. English is hard to learn. Japanese is often called a language isolate, not much in common with other language families. With that said Miku Kabuto opposite, but 100% genuinely herself, smiles, speaking, seeming infinite energy,, also wonderful. Two different people with different personalities. I love all members of Band-Maid, they are individual. As a group, they play well together, from 10 years of working hard doing 1000's of live shows and many studio albums. I see good people, who have amazing talents, love what they do, and respect their fans with "we will do our best" attitude. Stop projecting your negative personality onto the MAIDS... Everyone LOVES the mystery of MISA... The Bear Foot Assassin. Most of all an amazing bass player. I LOVE THE MUSIC and all I expect. I get joy from their music, and support them by buying watching liking their videos* , buying show tickets, merch, and in future purchase their CD.“10th Anniversary Best” Vol 1 & 2 CDs . Don't project your negative personality onto them. * Don't watch "reaction videos" that copyright violate and play their videos while going "WOW". Why Band-Maid management does not take them down I don't know, but don't support these REACTION leach channels. You don't need anyone to tell you how to feel or enjoy music. Watch MORE Band-Maid Channel videos, like and comment.

They've played just under 500 shows.
@gmcjetpilot Жыл бұрын
@me262a1 Thanks for fact check. You know more than I do about their history, no doubt. However, 500/10yrs = 50 shows per year AVERAGE. Accounting for the year or two of no touring due to pandemic that is over 60 shows a year average. I know US tours 2022 and 2023 (I was lucky to attended several shows) their schedule was busy, 2 or 3 shows a week, including traveling, sometimes no days off between shows. The point, I respect their hard work, and MISA "still waters run deep". Mysterious and that is cool. Thanks again for info.
