This song makes me think of Leah’s fate. She wasn’t the best character ever, but despite her parentage she was a genuinely good person and in the end her own mother abused her trust and committed her to a fate worse than death. Just tragic. And on top of all that, she’s never really mourned or even mentioned in the story again.

Leah's statement of "You chose to be one of us" is incorrect. Because in the Diablo universe, humanity is the result of renegade angels and demons having offspring, and Tyrael is a full-blown angel

I remember seeing the old teaser gameplay video back when it came out and this song being played in it. I was ten or so, and then the game came out and I played the shiiiiiiiit out of it

This track is so epic, it's giving me goosebumps. I love listening to this when I imagine people who are responsible for their wrongdoings being brought to justice, no matter how brutal the punishment is, so long as it's not prolonged, but quick.

The soundtrack for D3 is so iconic

Diablo III has some awesome music, but they feel too epic/WoW-ish for a game that is supposedly dark and gloomy. Diablo II really set a prime example of what the diablo series music should be like.

This masterpiece is the one and only orchestral music that give me the Diablo spirit. There are the basic themes from Diablo I, the esotic differences in Diablo II vanilla, and the epic vibes of Lord of Destruction, fused togheter perfectly. All the music after the release of the Ouverture, from Diablo III to Reaper of Souls, are acceptable at their best, but a disappointment in comparison.
