Tips to beat slender easier: 1: Sprint only if slender is in front or behind you, not longer then 3secs. 2: Let the first page be the one in the bathroom & its the badest one. 3: Make sure you make distence from the slender man. 4: Take all the pages one by one not going back. 5: Slender Man is almost every time near the cabin. 6: When its the gas tanks, make sure you get the page that there is as fast as you can. 7: If you look back , and see slenderman sprint, for 3secs and keep going without looking back. 8: If it is really bad, and slender man is near you, you dont have sprint, turn off the flashlight and look down, helps sometimes.

It's pretty smart to do what this guy does. KEEP MOVING at all costs. I tend to stop at each place and look around longer than necessary. Keep walking as you search, and you'll be able to cover more ground before he catches up to you.

Man, you've been pretty lucky when catching this video concerning the spots where the pages were placed. I have died like twenty times so far just because of running all around the objects to spot a page and meanwhile Slenderman screwed me over. I hate when he stands right next to a page. I can even see his evil smile when he does so.

This isn't the newest version. In the newest update, there's a different ending and once you win you unlock more levels. It's SUPER-IMPORTANT that you go in the order he's showing, because it keeps you on the main path and is the quickest route. (The more familiar you get with the layout, the less often you wander around long enough for you flashlight to die.)

Scout the map before you pick up any pages. Then pick up the choke points first. Obviously you want to pick up the bathroom one first if it's there. Then go about the others. tap shift, don't hold it down. keep your flashlight on - as it should last.

I don't do the running intervals. I just run for a while and go on to the next location. I don't run until she's breathing heavy, but you do have to run. Same thing with the 6th and 7th pages; you HAVE to run. It gets to the point where you have to chance turning around because when he scares you, it allows you to sprint for a little bit. That's the key.

One good tip. Get to know your orientations really well. If you do then you just have to pick up the pace once you reached 4 pages. If you don't then he'll just catch you. Hope it helps.

once you take the first note he will follow you. If you see him he will become turn aggressive and he will eventually try to steer you away from the other notes. (by appearing in front of you.) The player is looking through a video camera, maybe slender man does not like cameras. (The "myth" says that slender man affects electronics.)

Looking back might be an okay solution if your stamina is low, mainly because looking at the Slenderman prevents him from moving, but he CAN teleport. So keep your flashlight off when looking at him.

I think, the character is Tracy Henderson (a victim) who's grown slowly into a teenager. She has finally escaped and Slender is after her. And she's looking for notes from past victims who have escaped to help her survive. And yet she learns that slender put up the notes as a trap. So when she walks forward he takes her back permanently! I am creative :)

There are 10 possible spots where the 8 pages can be. That means every round there are 2 spots where are no pages. In this walkthrough the bathrooms and the kinda chopped tree things at 3:45 were the empty spots.

So basically you also can't stop moving after the 5th page. But what if you leave the bathroom for the last place? If the last page is there and you are lucky enough to find it before the slender man appears in the corridors, you can basically win. You have your back at the wall in the end of a room, which has only one entrance, and point your flashlight towards the entrace. Since he can attack you only from behind, he can't appear in front of you and you kind of win. no?

Ok, I tried to finish Slender following this guide today. Due to pathes which reduced player's movement speed it is not that easy to make it as this guide shows. You gotta run much more. But this video is very useful though. Thanks.

Got to 7/8 pages in my 4th attempt. Actually I don't find game scary at all if u get familiar with possible locations of pages. More like annoying, when slender pops up in your path and u have to try to get around it. Also, keep in mind that most of the time it follows u, after page 5, every time u take a look over shoulder hes there, but with every page found he follows u faster, that's why u have to start running at last pages. Also got 1 page while walking backwards to him (not look at him)

If you see slender, turn off your flash light and turn around. Many of you have problems with being uncapable of turning back around since it is forced. But if you turn off your flashlight the moment you see him you are able to turn around. Also the second time you run you will see him throughout the game, and never look behind you. :]

The trick was to NOT look behind you during the gameplay. That's how Slendy gets you. You hear a noise and you instinctively turn around, because he wants you to. Slendy's a manipulator-as long as you get a glance at him, he'll always have a hold on you, no matter when it is you'll look at him. As as you become more paranoiac, you'll keep looking behind you and keep giving him the advantage. The point of this strategy was to not give in to him, meaning you couldn't look at him.

I dont think you are supposed to run, ive been noticing that if you sprint, slender apears ahead of you, but if walking, hes only trying to sneak up behind you. Or maybe its just something with the dark, like if your sprinting with the flashlight downward, he apears ahead

In the newer versions, you can lessen the amount of tree detail and grass detail. Maybe that would help!

In version 9.4 there's a different ending. You survive. he catches you but then it cuts through static and you're in that building and it's daytime. You walk out, then it cuts to credits.

Once I took a long time to find the building to find the FIRST page but the booms started going BEFORE I got the FIRST page I found it in a room where SlenderMan can trap you but as soon as I left the room he was RIGHT outside the room and I literally screamed so loud If he's looking for me I always get nervous when I'm searching in the building cause you never know if he's right around the corner until you see him

I never said they made him. It's just what made him more popular and they call him "The Operator" in marble hornets. He is mentioned many times in the entries (atleast from my knowledge) and him and his associates (masky and hoodie) are seen a few times as well. They call him Slender Man because that was his original name.

There are only 10 locations and 8 pages. It's not like it's particularly difficult. Notice the way her grabs the pages. The direction the flashlight is pointing relative to the direction you are moving can confuse slenders ai. Notice he also never ran, and while this individual didn't you can use tricks like pointing the light one way, turning it off, then going the other way to draw him off.

There is a new version out - ver9.5 and it allows you to jog and has a menu on it. You should be able to jog by walking forward and holding down left shift.

you probably can still find pages you just have to look up but even if you donyt find any slenderman will still come after you after a wile even if you have found no pages but thats the hard part the pages change positions so if you played it and almost got last page but you accidentally exited ame when you started again each page would be in a different spot.

there are 10 places in the game and 8 pages.. so not all of the places will have a paper and the bathroom is the first place you should check and like at the beginning he doesn't appear that much.. the more you collect the nearer he get.. and at some point.. like at the 6th page.. you can't look behind.. because he's there....

no the cutscene should be in first person and when you pick up the last page your character turns around sees Slender Man turns back around and dashes for the fence but when she's climbing over Slender Man catches her leg and she looks back and trows the pages at him distracting him long enough to get away

This game is so fun because it gets you so scared and your heart racing haha. I first played it at my friends house on his laptop, and after a while we were gonna plug it into his TV but the TV didn't work :(. Either way, it's too bad it's pitch black outside so you basically can't see unless you have the flash light, and that battery dies eventually.

seems like he's got some good orientation going on. he knows exactly where to turn and where to go so he doesn't waste time. i had to draw a map to not get lost in the woods. but i never succeeded :( even though i followed the "survival rules" like go to the house first (or at least in the beginning), don't stop, never face slendy and try to hold him behind you... it seems to be impossible!!!

You have to have the whole place mapped out on paper to do it that fast..what happens with me is that Slender gets pissed off at me when I just get 3 pages..there wasn't one single time in this video where Slender pops up in front of you...he does that with me as soon as I get 3 pages. One time in the bathrooms, I saw him in the hall where the chair is. Only I was trapped at the dead end. He just walked off and LET me out of there...Slender doesn't just want to kill you...it wants to fuck with your mind.
