Your radio shows that they had high fidelity way back in the 1920s!

This TV works good, but after a few years, it randomly “datamoshes” the broadcast. Even when it’s not connected to a antenna. I also got mine on September 9, 2011

I used to have a 19" Panasonic "Speed-O-Vision" black and white TV back between 1980 and 1982. It had the green lighted UHF and VHF dials plus the power switch and volume, contrast and brightness controls on the top. I do not know the model number because I never looked at it and was only in my teens when it was scrapped for trash. I have not seen another TV like it since then and wondered if there is one by chance still in existence, even if its not in working condition I would love to see one again.

You don't rush a radio to work perfectly. They always burp and scratch when they haven't been used for a few years. Condensers have to clean out. You're also receiving a lot of interference on both bands.

I have. 2 of these I found a solid state amp in one of these it works well . A lot of times when the search unit just spins all you have to do is sand the board contact and it will go back to working it’s a simple mechine. Nice video

Nice I wish they brought this model back but add Bluetooth edition for this feature. Sometimes I don’t remember how old or when these came out I know these are from the 90s. Year hint it’s either 1997 1996 1995. So this year of this version I want to add Bluetooth edition.

Is the US the only country in the world where all traffic is required to stop for these buses? I don't think I have ever seen this in any other country in the world.

Comparisons with the other stations are somewhat meaningless because we don't know what program material the AM/FM station is broadcasting. It sounds like some syndicated pseudo-religious blab, and, being a syndicated talk program, we don't know how it was processed and produced. However, the comparison between the AM and its FM translator is very valid and I agree: they're receiving their off-the-air AM signal and using that as input to the FM transmitter. It's been years since I read the rules about these AM>FM translators, so I'm not sure how the FCC feels about doing that. Presumably you put the translator in a location that is not covered well by the AM signal, but if that's the case, should you be able to reliably receive the AM signal??? At any rate, GIGO: Garbage In, Garbage Out for that FM signal.

I'm not disputing here but from everything I've been told Retro Chad disengaged from this website and all of social media for a reason . I never got to see it but he posted a video why he decided to quit, I don't know every detail so don't quote me on that . But just about everybody is highly convinced after a decade he will never be a part of this forum ever again.

the western united life was demolished, the metro building and the southwest and the midland savings has been demolished, the vaughn building has sat vacant, while the petroleum building's last hope is the yucca theater. 2:06 those buildings are gone too, and the midland county courthouse is now respectively the george bush convention center and centennial park

Not sure why this popped up on my screen, maybe because I was looking for the brother of the 560, but I have this receiver. Got it in 1985, when it came out. It was one of only 3 at the time of receivers that had a LCD readout screen. I also got the matching cass deck, which is long gone (wore out the heads). But I have this unit on my covered patio feeding speakers for the patio and a set for the pool. Back in the day, it was high end. But it still is going strong (and the remote still works too). Got my unit from Crutchfield.

Nice radio. I just bought one of these yesterday while shopping around and it still works great after some cleaning and checking of tubes. Swapped in a better 12DT8 as original was acting up. It will get a recap and the selenium replaced soon, but for now it will work until my Zenith C845 is back up and running properly.
