Repair and remodel the Shoney’s in Jennings, Louisiana!…. The one you just closed!…. Small towns talk!…. And everyone here would give you business!…. But nobody wants to eat in a rotting building, water pouring in the dining room ever time it rains, and cold food because all the equipment is broken!…. Cathy Fisher is the manager at the location at Clarksville, TN 3083 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. My employee and I had breakfast at the location of 4/25/2022. We entered the restaurant at 11:15 am. We were conducting online zoom interviews while enjoying our meal. We were still at the restaurant a little after 3pm. About 3:05 to be exact. I wanted to get another cup of coffee and was told that I had to pay for another cup after I had already paid the bill and tipped the server. We were also told that we had been in the restaurant too long and could not get any more food from the bar and we had to leave. I am truly upset because i enjoy coming to Shoney's because of the calming atmosphere. I did not see a sign displayed saying that there was a time limit to be in the restaurant and that we would be charged to get more food. The attitude of Cathy Fisher was sour and she became very argumentative with myself and my employee. If this is how you handle business you should be shut down. We will be filing a complaint with the BBB about how we were treated today. We came to enjoy a good meal and instead treated with the most disrespect.
