These paid actresses playing waitstaff at Shoney's look remarkably happy and enthusiastic. I worked at a Shoney's in the 90's and it was a black hole of hopelessness throughout the entire place.

We used to have a shoneys here in Valdosta ga back in the 90s. I sure do miss it. When I was a kid, whenever we'd go there for breakfast, we'd load up our plates with whatever we'd like, breakfast wise. Lunch or dinner, I'd have either a double bacon cheeseburger or hamburger steak. the restaurant shut down I believe probably about 10 years ago and I never found out why and it still bums me out to this day. I just wish they'd bring it back.
