Would motor go well with a slightly smaller hull, like a 270? Also great drone shots!

D700 was the last of the depots stocked by Hillary’s party, and from here he sent a message to Fuchs advising the party would now attempt to reach the South Pole. The Ross Sea Committee advised Hillary he was not to travel further than D700 and separately Fuchs also asked Hillary to abandon his journey from D700 to the Pole. But Sir Ed wanting fame and glory made a dash for the pole against all orders from the expedition leader. The exhibition was about a crossing of the South Pole and not a journey to the pole.

Hello, 5th great grandson of John Croft here. Thank you so much for doing a tour of the mine he started, which at the beginning today I knew little to nothing about. Absolutely breath taking and beautiful.

Cool channel. There’s also a cave system in Golf Road in Dalton, MA. They’re boulder caves but the deepest and longest I’ve encountered. You can enter, cross under the road and pop out about 30 yards away.

We've got some caves and rock cities in the local diabase here but nothing quite as developed as this. Great feel to the video.

Extreme human hubris: entering the den of a potential family of animals. What do you think will happen when you encounter a mother with her children who reside in that cave? Imagine a large animal breaking/entering your home in the middle of the night...how would you react? Wouldn't you defend your home in every way possible? Nature deserves more respect from humans...mapping caves is one thing...entering them is trespassing.

Hello Mike, I'm new to making a comment on your channel. Well, I've been curious about the lost mine of Dutchy. It is located somewhere near the spruce brook which is a tributary to the Naugatuck River. Would definitely be interesting if you find it and can explore it.

I am trying to do the same thing with mine currently , I have a johnson 25 outboard I just bought. I was wondering what trim hole your boat is running with , as well as roughly how high you had to raise your motor on your jackplate. If I measure from the bottom of the transom on mine to the top of the leading edge of the jet foot I'm at 7 and 7/8ths with my trim bolt in the second hole .

Do you have to do repairs on that motor after such a trip? How about on the boat? This is definitely something no one else does.

It looks like they followed a fault line for at least some of the tunnel. Basically anywhere you see a big smooth surface on the walls and ceiling is going to be a fault lime.

Today, we call the Saguenay the region around Lac-St-Jean, Alma, etc. It is a big lake North of Québec City, if you look on a map. It's a region known for his blueberries and famous cheese and everyone is kinda related (sad, but it's because of its remote location). They are nice people, tho, and it's a very beautiful place to visit
