I broke rule 1, but mine are still "fine." I have them completely in well water in jars on my window sill. The plant became around a foot high before I split the root into separate pieces, and now I have three. I guess it's because of the lighting, but I will give them a better pot

I dream of visiting your greenhouse one day, lol Such beautiful plants, so lovely and health from all the care and love they receive! I also noticed you have some lovely Bromeliads with you, could you do a tour on them as well? Bromeliads have grown on me lately, and I would love to see more people talking about them, they are amazing plants, basically the "herbivore"/"fungivore" counterparts to the Nepenthes. Cheers!

Really enjoy your videos and your energy! I follow you since a couple if years even tho i am an cactus and succulent grower and not really into nepenthes at all! You even partly inspired me to start my own nursery! Please keep up the great content! 🫶🏻 P.S. I would really love to get a whole tour of all the non carnivorous plants you grow one day. Especially of all the bromeliads (Broccinia etc)!

Will misting multiple times really help? I’ve got good plant growth but my humidity is totally lacking. They get almost done and then kind of stop. My young ones pitched well but my larger ones need some help. They’re in 50/50 perlite/sphagnum under a florawave p80. I use gathered rain water that they’re watered with once a week.
@redleafexotics47226 күн бұрын
extra humidity always helps. sounds like everything else is fine. water when they approach dryness and Nepenthes like to be fertilized. Lots of info on fert out there. start slow and see what works for you. Thanks!

Are mice attracted to it or something? Why would they go into that? I have a whole as mouse nest and now I want one of these things.

There's so much proof of life in these plants for me, I just can't handle it. Like how does a weed decide one day to be THIS? The resilience and determination of carnivorous plants is such an inspiration to me. Life always finds a way, y'all. Nepenthes chose to live 🤘🏾
